I'm from the Pau region and I'm 64 years old, and I assure you we know what it means when it comes to a good meal in Béarn... I was in Marseille to see OM (European Cup). Imagine, this convivial moment spent at Café BOVO almost made me forget the thrashing I received the day before against Liverpool!!! Can you imagine???? Now, on a more serious note, a truly wonderful moment of pure and simple JOY! Long live Café BOVO, and don't change a thing!!! A little tip: The waitress is lovely, but don't even think about teasing her because she has a sharp tongue! JUST NATURAL AND BRILLIANT, NO FUNNY GUMS!!! 14/02/2026: The seafood was spoiled. Three of us ate those oysters, mussels, and shrimp, and our stomachs will remember it. It's a shame because we had a lovely time there.

14/02/2026: The food was pretty good, from the appetizers to dessert. However service was not. I think I've never waited for such a long time at a restaurant and our waiter couldn't be bothered do their job. I'd give 3.5 stars for that. It's a pity, I had better expectations.

07/02/2026: I really like this restaurant but what I find disappointing is the quantity of side dishes, for example the Grantin portion would not be enough for a 4 year old child, try to review the quantities a little for our greater happiness because it is excellent.

I've sent several emails as instructed on their website, but haven't received a reply. It's a shame, because this lack of communication leaves a bad impression. Perhaps they're closed; in that case, the page isn't up to date.
