21/03/2026: This was my favorite restaurant during a four day visit to Marseille. Amazing fresh, super tasty, and local food - best oysters I’ve had in years - and the cooked dishes were delicious! Super fun atmosphere- the whole restaurant was seafood themed down to every detail including the plates and cutlery. One of the funnest parts of going here is that the owner personally serves you - including explaining the menu (in french or English) to each table. He’s funny and friendly! The menu changes daily depending on what’s available. Everything we ate was delicious (five dishes total for two people).

08/03/2026: Absolutely wonderful, words fail me. We went there on a friend's recommendation. From the moment we walked in, the lady was incredibly welcoming. I asked her we hadn't made a reservation but wanted to take some couscous to go... no problem, she said, "I'll take your order and we'll take care of the pastries later." Even my children told me how wonderfully well they were received, Dad, the lady is so kind. We came back a few minutes later to pick everything up and enjoyed it that evening. Three couscous with merguez sausage and one with kefta. Everything was well packaged, no risk of leakage. Lots of seeds... the merguez sausages weren't too spicy... the vegetables were varied (zucchini, chickpeas, carrots...) and just the right amount of crunch... the sauce was delicious, very flavorful, and not at all greasy. I really appreciated that it was so easy to digest! We were able to make four generous plates and go back for seconds. The pastries were all excellent, beautifully made, especially the soft Algerian cone...and the others were wonderfully fragrant with orange blossom, a real treat. If I may, the couscous broth could have used a little more liquid. But otherwise, everything was absolutely perfect. We will definitely be back...whether for afternoon tea with mint and pastries or for lunch.

20/02/2026: We had lunch there. My wife got food poisoning, either from spoiled meat or poor hygiene. I do not recommend this restaurant.

13/04/2026: A very beautiful restaurant. Not being from Marseille, we quickly realized we were in a truly iconic spot in the region. The manager is very friendly and passionate about his work. The food is generally very good. The foie gras terrine is perfectly seasoned, the jam is delicious, and their toast is excellent. The cuttlefish ravioli with sea bass fillet are very refined and generously portioned. The sea bream tartare is very tasty and light, perfect for summer. Go there as a couple or with your family; the setting is well worth it.

07/04/2026: A Marseille institution, an iconic spot that hasn't aged a day in 40 years. The €33 lunch menu remains the best deal in the neighborhood: the quality is there, it's delicious, and served with a smile.

09/04/2026: The staff, or at least one very unpleasant woman, was awful. I went into the bar to meet some friends. She didn't even say hello or anything; she just kicked me out rudely, yelling at me and saying, "But pizzas aren't served here." Okay, maybe we're not allowed to bring our own food because you cook, but I don't know. You could at least have said hello, greeted me properly, and said, "Sorry, we can't allow people with food. Why don't you cook for us?" instead of kicking me out in front of a full bar. I strongly advise against going there if you're not good at communication; you shouldn't be in a profession where you have to welcome people.

06/04/2026: We went there multiple times during our trip to Marseille, the menu changes daily which is very nice as they focus on fresh ingredients. The staff were really friendly, the cafe has a cool aesthetic and the food is super good, lovely homemade style food. The earl grey tea is fantastic aswell. They serve lunch between 12-2, we found that after about 1:30-1:40 they might be sold out of some items, so if you want to be able to try anything on the menu, I would recommend going closer to 12.
