06/09/2024: My wife and I have been blown away by the innovative, inspired cuisine of Chef Jérôme Yahia, who in our opinion should have two Michelin stars to his name! Every meal is a culinary adventure from start to finish, filled with pleasure with every mouthful.. He sources the best local ingredients, and creates exciting dishes with great flair. Masterfully combining textures, flavours, and colours that are art as well as food! We’ve had 3 lunches so far and two diners and every plate has been a joy to eat. A feast on the eyes and then the palet. We’ve dined at 1, 2 and 3 star restaurants and both agree his cooking is easily 1 star, and better suited to 2 Michelin stars in our opinion. Often with haute cuisine, if you’re a big eater like me you can feel “less is less” and wish that you just had a bit more! But that’s not the case with him. His portions are as generous as they are delicious. I suffer from life-threatening allergies. So eating out can be very high risk, and in the past, has led to me being rushed to hospital via ambulance because someone dropped the ball or they were complacent/negligent. But right from the moment we arrived, it was clear that Jerome was completely on top of my allergies and the triggers, as were front of house who had evidently been extremely well briefed. Consequently, I was able to sit back and relax and eat safely, with complete confidence that chef and his team, plus front of house had my back. Which has made every meal a far more relaxed experience for me and for my wife than in the past. So if you suffer from food allergies, or intolerance, I can say based on my experience, if you dine here you are in very good hands if you let them know in advance. Personally, I always notify a restaurant or hotel before I dine there of what my allergies are. Because it’s much easier to plan in advance, then have to work around in the middle of a busy service. But that’s just my view.. The staff front of house are all very friendly, warm and extremely professional! It’s a real pleasure to dine with them. They are attentive without being too much, and always on hand keen to help/serve. The sommelier (I regret I haven’t got her name) is not only clearly very passionate about what she does, and extremely knowledgeable. She’s also very warm and engaging, always advising on the best wine to complement a dish, not the most expensive. That said, she has curated a very extensive and impressive wine list which will satisfy anyone’s pallet. So as you can tell, both myself and my wife are big fans, and would recommend anyone to come here and have a gastronomic adventure! As for me we will be back next year and I’m Very much looking forward to dinner tonight..

08/08/2024: Un magnifique écrin de verdure , un complexe hôtelier haut de gamme et un restaurant gastronomique délicieux Les plats sont succulents et les associations de saveurs délicieuses. Un table qui mérite son étoile. Un service irréprochable et attentionné. C’est une parenthèse de bonheurs gustatifs .

04/08/2024: Be careful, they are dishonest: they announce that their burgers (already expensive) come with fries for €4. They also offer fries with a cheddar topping for €5. On the other hand, when you ask for the extra cheddar topping on the included fries, they add €5 to the bill. So I don’t know if they are bad at math or just dishonest but the customer experience takes a big hit. Add to that a terribly unpleasant waitress for a ruined dinner... I don't recommend this restaurant but luckily Saint Rémy offers much better options for a good burger and much cheaper by the way. To the wise Following the restaurant's response: I invite you to reread my comment unless you know how to count or read. Your waitress wanted to charge us for a Lovers Bacon (€16 with fries included) for €21 because we asked her for the extra cheddar on the fries, which are supposed to accompany the burger... but the final price of the burger and fries should be 17€, including the cheddar supplement of 1€. So I see it as a dishonest technique to rip off your less careful customers. Your waitress even admitted that you had recurring problems on this subject even though she said she had been working there for 2 years. You are therefore well aware of this practice. And yes we found a cheaper burger and served by much nicer waiters than your waitress who, I repeat, was extremely unpleasant.

03/07/2024: We eat well at L! The welcome is friendly, we feel good there, I love it! Traditional cuisine prepared with love. Even the music is soothing, a very pretty place to discover in Saint Remy. Continuous service so don't hesitate! Val

26/06/2024: Chez L, an enchanted break in the historic heart of Saint Rémy de Provence. You choose your place, in the shade or in the sun, the smile and warm welcome from the owners is pure happiness. The Bulgur salad and its crunchy vegetables and the chocolate fondant are a real delight. I highly recommend this place :)

20/07/2024: A very cozy little restaurant run by Valérie and her husband, chef Mathias Authentic and tasty cuisine. Each dish is carefully prepared with local products at a very reasonable price given the work put in by the chef. You can go there with your eyes closed.

14/07/2024: A culinary journey to the foot of the Alpilles...What could be better?

15/10/2024: Not very worthy of a 4 star. Decoration or comfort are from another time. Special mention to the receptionist who did everything to find us an acceptable room.

08/10/2024: The hotel is falling apart. Although it has very good and friendly staff, they cannot compensate for how poorly maintained and how dirty everything is.

18/05/2024: Excellent food, starters, main and dessert. Generous and very kind staff. Warm atmosphere of a small restaurant. Don't be biased that due to its central location, it is touristic - we were the only non french when visited there.

17/05/2024: There wasn’t anything wrong with the dishes as such, they just didn’t quite hit the mark. Tomato tarte tatin didn’t have the full powered tomato flavour you’d expect from Provençal produce, the pastry was soggy and not crisp, Asparagus with a sea bream fillet was pleasant, the sort of thing I’d cook at home. Dessert of pavlova was lovely, local strawberries in season delicious. But it wasn’t exactly pushing the boundaries. Wine was pretty good & the service very attentive & efficient. It was the most expensive meal we had and a bit disappointing.

19/09/2024: We stayed in this small hotel with a charming setting, located in a very beautiful building. The spa is particularly pleasant and the swimming pool, magnificent, invites you to relax. However, we are disappointed in some aspects, especially considering the price we paid. The cleaning left something to be desired: we found a toothbrush case on the sink, dust on the towel dryer, and the maintenance of the rooms deserved more attention. There were notably large traces of limescale on the shower column and in the toilets, which is regrettable for an establishment of this category.

17/09/2024: We enjoyed our stay here and they kindly upgraded us .It’s a lovely old Bastide type house with lots of space inside and out and a nice pool area .Breakfast was good but no bar or restaurant but that was not a problem for us

15/08/2024: Dîner au roof top le 8 août : table exceptionnelle. La vue superbe sur les toits de la ville et de l’église avec le coucher de soleil en prime! Puis le décor avec ce mobilier à la fois chic moderne et confortable et ces petits oliviers entre chaque table! Enfin le service juste et avenant et enfin le dîner avec menu unique qui nous a ravi les papilles de bout en bout. Le poisson est superbement mis à l’honneur dans des assiettes aussi belles que délicieuses! Le dessert autour de la fraise n’avait pas à rougir…! Un moment hors du temps qui nous a comblé comme très rarement !

19/08/2025: Stayed here for a week with a family group of 10. We had an excellent stay! The owners were very kind and eager to share local knowledge. Bernard was helpful and very patient with our mediocre command of his native tongue
