The service is impeccable, and the small inner courtyard offers an unexpected haven of peace. Special mention goes to the warm welcome extended to our canine friends. 🐕‍🦺 An address that's definitely worth the detour! 👏

20/05/2026: The south of France is changing and losing its soul… from a roadside bistro, it's become a good, generous, and delicious stopover… very friendly and attentive, a little less so when it comes to paying, the food is very good, high-quality seasonal produce and plenty of it, but something's missing to be perfect… a bit pricey, but you're almost in St Rémy…

24/05/2026: A wonderful evening at Restaurant Marshall in Eygalières, recently opened in the former location of L’Aubergine, a true village institution. We were completely captivated by the food: vibrant cuisine with refined presentation and beautiful ingredients. A real sense of creativity shines through, all while maintaining a generous and flavorful experience. Special mention goes to the artichoke salad, the carpaccio, and especially the lemon dessert… absolutely divine! The desserts are created by Mr. Marshall, former pastry chef at the renowned Marshall pastry shop in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. A unique and refreshingly talented restaurant that we highly recommend to those who haven't yet discovered it!

14/05/2026: I didn't eat anything, but the menu is okay for a pub. It's mostly finger food and not classic Irish dishes. Otherwise, it's just your average Irish pub.

03/05/2026: Best scotch and whisky selection we found in our entire stay in France. Service is direct and efficient, no time wasted - as you'd expect from a bar. They warmed up to me when I showed knowledge about their scotch selection and did a bit of a tasting tour of their offerings. We arrived about 5:30pm, it was pretty quiet with a lot of tables available. By the time we left at 7pm, the place was completely full. Show up early, or be patient waiting on a table.

01/06/2026: We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. A huge thank you to Laurence for her warm welcome, her availability, and her kindness. She was particularly attentive to our 19-month-old son, who also thoroughly enjoyed his stay. We especially appreciated the absolute tranquility of this establishment. It's a true haven of peace where we were able to relax and recharge. The garden is magnificent, with superb roses that add so much charm to the place. The pool is perfectly maintained and spotlessly clean. We left feeling refreshed and delighted with our stay. This place is ideal for a romantic getaway or for a family seeking peace and quiet in a beautiful setting. Thank you again to Laurence for all her thoughtful touches. We will gladly return!

26/05/2026: Don't be fooled; this is a bed and breakfast that you'll pay the price of a very nice hotel. At first glance, the location and aesthetics of the establishment are ideal: 2 minutes from St. Rémy de Provence and a beautiful traditional farmhouse. The property also has ample parking. The room itself, however, is rather basic and already has some flaws that are not worthy of a 4-star hotel: no curtains on the windows (meaning that during the day you're either seen, or you close the curtains and live in darkness), limescale on the bathtub faucet, no hand soap, and a broken minibar. Then, in the morning, breakfast won't give you the impression that you're getting your money's worth. There are few "homemade" products (only yogurt and jams), and the fruit isn't local (a real shame considering all the grocery stores and markets in the region). Furthermore, even though breakfast is served briefly (8:30-10:00 AM), arrive early! Items are rarely replenished, and your selection will likely dwindle very quickly. Finally, the biggest disappointment comes from the service. It clearly tries to project a "Grand Palace" image, but this is merely a facade, and there is absolutely no flexibility to back it up. First, before your stay, you'll receive a phone call asking for your arrival time, only to be told that check-in is only possible from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Thank you, I can read… Secondly, there is no receptionist or security personnel present after 8:00 PM until the morning: guests are therefore left to their own devices, with only a number to call in case of emergency. This is acceptable for a guesthouse, but it's not what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. One rather unsettling anecdote: you're warned to be careful not to lock the reception entrance door, otherwise some guests might find themselves locked out because their key won't open the door, leaving them stranded. It's unbelievable! There's no food service, and be warned, eating or drinking in the rooms is strictly forbidden! Is this a boarding school or a hotel? Finally, be aware that it's not explicitly stated, and at no point, but check-out time is 11:00 AM, not noon. Even if you simply apologize and say you weren't aware of this, they'll try to prove you wrong. In short, it's a beautiful establishment with a lovely facade, but it's sold at an astronomical price compared to the subpar services offered.

31/05/2026: We arrived on a Sunday at lunchtime with a reservation, which was a great decision because the place was packed. Despite the large crowd, we were served quickly and efficiently. The food was excellent, and the portions were generous. The fish of the day had been replaced with a delicious, very tender octopus, accompanied by a rustic mashed potato and vegetable purée. We also tried the daily special, lamb with vegetables, which was truly exquisite. For dessert, we shared a tarte tatin served with a generous portion of cream and ice cream, more than enough for two people. Throughout the meal, the service was friendly, welcoming, and pleasant. A very enjoyable experience. I would definitely return and highly recommend it.

29/05/2026: We sat here in the early evening for drinks and people and dog watching . Good wine selection not so thrilled with the G and T the local tonic is flat! They do not do aperol sprits but there version which is very sweet and not as good. Bar food is very nice.

25/05/2026: The welcome was appalling, and the waiter displayed a serious lack of courtesy. We were refused a table without even a greeting, and were spoken to in a very aggressive manner. We would have perfectly understood if we couldn't be seated politely, but apparently, dismissing us was easier for him. Despite being from Saint-Rémy, we are very disappointed with this experience and will never return.
