27/04/2024: For 5 years I have been ordering pizzas from vinyl pizza and one evening we wanted to try another pizza maker and I took the pizza with Vire andouille sausage for comparison. In conclusion, I will no longer be unfaithful to vinyl pizza because with every bite you have the taste of andouille de Vire. In addition there is a small delay on their part because they were able to make me forget about the inconvenience that I didn't have to. Even if you have to wait for a little delay from them for that and forgive on the flavor of the pizza that you make. 06/11/2023: Perhaps the best cuisine in Courseulles-sur-Mer. Everything is fresh, homemade and you can feel it. Try the braised Sweetbreads (a treat) or the French toast-style brioche. Friendly welcome and flawless service.

06/11/2023: Very good restaurant, a little in the city so you will not benefit directly from the seaside. But this is not a problem given the quality of the cuisine which is really good. A very good address in Courseulles-sur-Mer, to do if you are passing through the town.

21/05/2024: I hesitated for a long time to submit my review because I read that the owner always finds answers to negative reviews but this reassured me in my decision because it confirms the first opinion we had when we arrived. We had booked a room for 5 nights on the garden side but on our arrival the owner claimed, using superlatives, to have upgraded us in the residence opposite the hotel to a “magnificent room” and yet nothing was different about the configuration of the room. this room except on the ground floor, near the road (tourists even came to bother us to know the price of the room...), with a concrete terrace (and dirty, no desire to spend any time there ) directly overlooking a neighboring property (no garden as advertised, no charm). There is a disposable mattress pad between the mattress and the sheet, torn in the corners which therefore seems to have been in place for a long time, it is a very static material (there are even hairs that are not ours) and not breathable , the bed is not pleasant, you sweat quickly. A mattress pad of this type must be changed for each new client. The room furniture is not very clean. The housekeeping is basic. Wardrobe lacking hangers, limited storage space. The icing on the cake is a parking lot in which it is impossible to park because the spaces are too narrow, you can park your vehicle there but you can no longer get out because it is so tight, so we finally left our vehicle in the street. Breakfast is good, although it lacks a toaster. On the restaurant side it is the factory and the service is very approximate. It's long, too long, the dishes arrive lukewarm (not great for a fish soup), the mussels are dried out, the fish is no better than elsewhere (overcooked and we don't feel the freshness) even though we are by the sea and prices are high. You are sold water treated on site at the price of gold, praising the virtuous side and with no other choice except a carafe of water which is not good. At this price, I expected top-notch water but a taste persists. Considering the prices on your menu, you could offer the first bottle and the virtuous meaning would be better understood because there you feel rather cheated at €6.80 for 75 cl... For 3 scoops of ice cream for dessert, the waiter came back twice because he made a mistake in the flavors. A glass of rosé wine was sparkling, it was replaced but the waiter still had doubts about our statement, he went to taste it before replacing it for us... We also dined twice at the "Comptoir" just opposite which belongs to the same owner and had a very good experience, perhaps because it has just opened and the reputation remains to be established? The team seems dynamic and committed but the structure is also much smaller and on a human scale, we wish them continued success in their momentum In conclusion, overconfident boss: arrogant? I was able to read it, so yes certainly, it was the first opinion we formed upon first contact. Service in the hotel restaurant very average, smiling but lacks experience and organization. High prices for average quality. When we want to do too much we forget about customer satisfaction and that doesn't encourage them to come back. Too bad for you

10/05/2024: Very disappointed. Overcooked marinières mussels Mussels marinière overcooked and tasteless. Bland Wilted and cooked fries+++ Half cooked tuna without surprise. Annoyed waiter... In short... not great and it's a shame given the exceptional setting...

19/05/2024: Pizzas drowning in cheese, undercooked egg (the white was inedible), the camembert was not well cooked and had no taste. Ingredients of poor quality and industrial (the bacon arrives already cooked, says the owner, who is not very friendly at first glance. However, he made a commercial gesture. Note that we did not ask, nor give our opinion , nor to speak to the boss.
