if you're ever in Saint-Flour, stop by this place! The setting is lovely and the welcome is so warm and friendly – I really enjoyed it! As for the food, the quality/price ratio is excellent, and the portions are generous. Corsicans like me appreciate good food. Don't hesitate, go for it!

25/09/2026: A huge disappointment considering the positive reviews I just read. This is no longer Geneviève's restaurant; only the name remains. The Cantal crumble was served on a bed of simmered summer vegetables (canned ratatouille). The "fresh salmon salad" was devoid of salmon (just green leaves and potatoes, and a few strips of salmon that looked like they were fishing for it). Of course, we didn't try the dessert. In short, it was like Metro food.
23/09/2026: Without a reservation, we still managed to snag a table just in time. This place seems quite popular, and it's easy to see why!
The staff is incredibly kind. Let the owner guide you in choosing your wine.
The pan-seared beef tartare with St. Nectaire sauce and the mirabelle plum clafoutis were a real treat!
All this in a very pleasant setting.
Thank you to the restaurant owners for the wonderful time we had. We'll definitely be back…

16/09/2026: When it came time to pay, the amount the owner indicated on the provisional receipt wasn't the same as the final invoice, which was hidden behind it... As a result, he charged us an extra €2 without us even noticing! Especially since he added sarcastically: "Look, I don't want to rip you off!" I won't be going back.

22/08/2026: Excellent value for money. Very welcoming staff. Indoor and outdoor seating available. We were seated immediately, without a reservation, while all the other restaurants turned us away (it was 8:45 pm). The menu is varied, featuring regional products.

06/09/2026: The worst fried noodles I've ever eaten. A tourist might be none the wiser, but a Mauritian or someone familiar with Mauritian cuisine will immediately realize that the quality and taste are clearly lacking. I absolutely do not recommend it.

19/09/2026: A very nice little restaurant, with staff who love their work. We were seated on the terrace with our dog and had a wonderful meal. It was delicious. See you soon.
12/09/2026: An address in Saint-Flour to discover the flavors of Auvergne.
We chose the Auvergne menu at €26, and frankly, it was a very pleasant surprise: hearty and generous portions.
A Saint-Flour salad for starters,
sausage and aligot for the main course, a classic and perfectly comforting Auvergne dish, and to finish, a blueberry pachade, a delicious and typical regional specialty.
The value for money is excellent, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is friendly. Simple, authentic cuisine, just the way we like it when discovering the Cantal region. A place to remember if you're passing through Saint-Flour.
