27/08/2024: Exquisite dishes, impeccable service, attentive staff, it was perfect. NB: Recommended by the backpacker guide. Back in this restaurant on 08/27/24 as exquisite as ever, we enjoyed ourselves once again. Congratulations to the chef. .

24/08/2024: This little restaurant deserves to be known! We had dinner there with 3 people last night, after booking by phone. We enjoyed a very good cocktail as an aperitif, then the “discovery” menus at 29 euros (starter+main course+dessert). The dishes are well presented, delicious and, a very, very big positive point to point out because it is rare, all the dishes arrive on very hot plates, which allows you to enjoy quietly without having to rush. The room is small and cozy for a calm tasting. The welcome and service are very pleasant, smiling and friendly. Excellent value for money. In short, a very nice evening to be repeated as soon as possible.

The cuisine is tasty, well balanced, yesterday we enjoyed ourselves like the time before. Everything is homemade and you can feel it. 19/08/2024: During our bike stopover in Rochefort after noon, we started looking for a restaurant. The owner of this restaurant, despite the high attendance, reserved a table for us and kindly offered us to come back less than half an hour later. Despite the end of service at noon, we were very well received. The dishes served were very good and very good value for money. THANKS

23/09/2024: Very friendly staff with an Italian accent. It sets the mood. Very hearty and delicious pizzas. Our children were over the moon and so were we. The best pizzas we have eaten so far.

23/09/2024: Lots of fried food and what isn't fried lacks finesse. High prices for what they offer. Our bread was completely dried out and the water tasted very much like chlorine. With a starter and some wine you can easily spend 50 to 60 euros per person. I think the oysters we ate had been open for a long time. I was sick from it during the night. Fish was fried too hard, risotto was not creamy but dried out. The fries were tasty but extremely oily. Alioli was very tasty. The waiters were friendly and quick in service. But all in all, I don't really understand the rave reviews. Fewer dishes on the menu and more attention to cooking and finishing would probably improve things.

15/08/2024: Galettes et crêpes succulentes. La carte est marquée par la créativité du lieu au niveau des recettes proposées et l'exigence des produits utilisés. Chapeau à la serveuse Maryse qui a su nous convaincre de dépasser nos préjugés et de tenter une aventure gourmande avec une confiture artisanale très originale. Merci à elle pour ce dessert inoubliable.

09/09/2024: Simple meal, the fries, mussels and caramel cream, not forgetting the eggs and mayonnaise were very good, just like at home! Pleasant and friendly setting, excellent welcome, It was 1:30 p.m. Saturday September 7, some dishes and desserts were no longer available given the time, but we liked what was left. The gentlemen who ate at the table next to us knew the bistro's good cuisine! I recommend!

Lo consigliamo,vi innamorerete di questo ristorante e anche della bella regione Charente. Every year we visit them from Italy for the food (of the highest level, fish but also meat of excellent quality) and for the courtesy, kindness of the staff. We recommend it, you will love this restaurant and also the beautiful region of Charente. Chaque année, nous allons les trouver en venant d’Italie à la fois pour la nourriture (de très haut niveau, le poisson mais aussi la viande d’excellente qualité) et pour la courtoisie, la gentillesse du personnel.
