10/04/2026: Honestly, not great. Extremely expensive... portions reduced to the bare minimum, and my palate was left wanting more; I wasn't impressed. A dish with sauce but no bread? We're in France, that's basic. The cocktail was okay. 50 grams of rice and 20 grams of duck swimming in a sauce that didn't taste of orange for 20 euros is a rip-off. The broth and salad were fine. No dessert included in the set menu?

22/04/2026: Reservation for 2 on a Tuesday evening: We received a warm welcome; the staff were professional and friendly. The food was excellent, the delicious dishes flowed smoothly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. This wasn't our first visit, and we will gladly return.

Everything was delicious: from the aperitif to the dessert, including the main course and the wine.
Refined dishes, well-prepared and beautifully presented.

Be sure to save room for the divine profiteroles... and they're enormous! The service was quick and impeccable. I'll definitely be back.

20/02/2026: Following a recommendation from a fellow walker, we went into this small, simple but welcoming restaurant. We received a very warm welcome; it was quite busy, but we waited patiently. The meal was excellent; we were pleasantly surprised by the food, everything was delicious. I chose a glass of white wine from the Charentes region, which was excellent—a little dry yet also slightly fruity. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are ever in Rochefort. 27/04/2026: A very bad experience with strawberry plants. Not only did they arrive frozen on the table (despite following the instructions), but the strawberries turned to mush when they thawed. I hate throwing away food, but sometimes there's nothing else to do...
