22/01/2025: Restaurant certainly accustomed to its success and which does not need new customers. Being a restaurateur myself, I find the casual attitude of the young man who “welcomed” my son and me bordering on disrespect. It’s 1:30 p.m., the restaurant closes an hour later so apparently the rush is over, no one is waiting. I ask for a table for two: the tone of voice that answers me clearly does not really want to be customer satisfied. No table...before 15/20 minutes...so you have to wait...outside...so it's January 22 and it's cold in Paris. No offer to drink hot tea on the terrace, a broth, start lunch outside… I tell myself that I will wait in the café opposite: “and if I leave a name and we will come back in 15 minutes”. Well no, if there is someone before you I will place them... well do it gentlemen, stay in this nonchalant attitude, devoid of commercial sense. It’s great to see that some colleagues are not so afraid of the crisis that they can afford to lose customers on a Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. We will never cross Paris again to come and try this cuisine which looks delicious and will not fail to warn those who might be interested.

12/05/2026: An accessible takeaway/dine-in restaurant. Just pop in for a quick bite after a day at the Louvre and Versailles and then head home. Friendly service, choose your own dishes. Tasty food, good quality. We spent €15 for a meal.

30/04/2026: First time eating at Japan Eat, I was really satisfied, the value for money is top-notch, it's good and plentiful, thank you to the chef, it was excellent, and thank you to Dan and Moussa for the welcome and kindness, we felt right at home.

Exorbitant prices
Service worse than a fast food restaurant
I ordered 9€ sushi (6 California rolls with cheese and avocado), and it was like eating tiny things.
The main course arrived before the appetizer.
We weren't served at the same time.
And people had the nerve to speak their minds.
The worst part is they threw the sushi in front of me because I refused to take it, given the poor quality and texture compared to the price.
Instead of keeping it and giving it to the homeless when the Red Cross (thank goodness!) and other charities came to ask for it for the homeless...
I ordered tasteless noodles; you're literally eating something that has no flavor whatsoever.
For 19€
Avoid at all costs!

21/09/2024: I often go to this restaurant! Very good and sophisticated decoration! I highly recommend.
30/08/2024: Good address in the neighborhood, the choice is varied and the staff is attentive.
The recipes are carefully crafted and the products are of high quality. We were made very welcome by all the staff. No bad points in particular, it was simple and effective.

29/11/2024: The ravioli are delicious, as is the Pekingese soup which is one of the best I have ever eaten.
I order at least once a week. As a bonus, the value for money is really good.

We were served quickly (10-15 min wait).
The dim sums are incredible. Small, yes, but exquisite. The prices are therefore justified.
Prices of other dishes are normal
I absolutely do not recommend the cocktails, they are not tasty.

06/08/2024: Staff was courteous but food was average. I would say that apart from pho that we did not order because it was too hot, the menu is a mix of different Asian cuisines . It was a pleasant night but not a real Vietnamese restaurant.

Medium portion (pho) and chicken rice in small quantity.
Ravioli soup where the broth is the same as pho (not logical).

26/09/2024: Great Chinese food. Can't remember the name but S8 was amazing. The vegetable dish was very fresh.
Prices very reasonable by San Francisco standards. Their probs were a little smaller than American Asian restaurants but still a GREAT. value
