05/05/2026: Very close to the train station, so ideally located! The historic heart of Ussel is easily accessible on foot for exploring the town. The hotel is very comfortable, the billiards room with games and books is a real plus, and the rooms are very clean and functional. The owners provide a warm welcome, and the evening meal is delicious, homemade. We highly recommend this hotel!

31/03/2026: Excellent value for money for lunch: starter, main course, cheese, and dessert for 17 euros! Very popular, so you need to book in advance.

28/03/2026: We were delighted to eat in this cozy space with its simple cuisine that evoked childhood memories. There's a set menu, but it can be slightly modified to suit individual tastes (which I thought was fantastic). Thank you for the warm welcome, kindness, and smiles.

16/04/2026: Easy parking right in front, very disappointed, not worth the price. The food was good but nothing special; part of the chicken hamburger was undercooked when we reported it, but received no response. The terrace was dilapidated, the outdoor chairs were in poor condition, and the ground was dirty. We were shocked. We won't be back.

16/04/2026: Lunch on the terrace... superb view! And for our taste buds... what a treat from appetizer to dessert! We'll be back!

19/04/2026: A dreadful experience. We're regulars, and the service and food are getting worse every month. Last night, I ordered a grilled burger and was given a "mythical" burger. I mentioned it to the waitress, who took my burger back to the kitchen. There, they added a slice of cheddar cheese, but they didn't remove the lettuce or the bacon slice, which wasn't originally in the burger. They tried to make me believe everything was sorted out. There were three fries practically fighting each other on my plate. I was given a dirty spoon for dessert. The waiter shouted in the dining room that he didn't know how to make an Irish coffee, as if he owned the place. The customers behind us told the waitress their steak was cold. She apologized and left, and after a few minutes, she realized her response was inappropriate and finally apologized. Other customers complained about empty plates. In short, I used to be a very regular customer, but now I'm going to avoid this restaurant. If you don't turn things around, you'll end up closing down, and that's a real shame.

12/03/2026: A friendly place, well-prepared dishes (sports-oriented, in this case). The decor is very original, especially the table arrangement.
