09/03/2026: We made a reservation for Saturday at 6:15 pm (the evening of Ramadan). We called to confirm the time so we would have enough time to order and be served on time for breaking the fast. This was confirmed over the phone. However, upon arriving at 6:15 pm, the waiter sighed, saying we had come too "early." We explained that we weren't in a hurry and could wait if necessary. We ordered a charcuterie platter as a starter and main courses. The waiter asked if we wanted the platter before the main courses (which seemed logical since it's a starter). He then informed us that the main courses would take longer to arrive because the cooks were young. This is perfectly understandable, but in this case, it might be better to adjust the service schedule. Despite this, the food was very good, even excellent. On the other hand, the service was rather poor, and we considered leaving several times. This is not the first time we have come, but it is the first time we have received this kind of welcome.

20/04/2026: Disappointed 😞 My friend and I came to get two drinks to go and were shocked by the price and the quality. €7 for a dirty chai 😶 The waitress then explained that the shot of coffee was an extra €1 (okay) and the plant-based milk another €1 (they're really pushing it here, Maurice). I thought to myself, at that price it had better be good. Too bad, it tasted like water. Used to specialty coffee, this is far from it, unfortunately. The atmosphere seems cozy and the waitresses are nice.

23/03/2026: Very friendly welcome and great food. Something for everyone, all made locally. At affordable prices. A lovely break.

17/02/2026: Came here for a jazz jam session. There is no entry fee and drinks are cheap. Since I don’t drink alcohol, they gave me tap water for free.

26/10/2025: Very nice place, nice atmosphere, but with a very rude server. He even went so far as to say, "Shut up." The boss needs to take disciplinary action, otherwise it's a disaster.

04/06/2026: We booked a table for 2 for tonight on TheFork and what a surprise we had when we arrived at the restaurant: it's closed for good!

10/01/2026: Fantastic welcome, the staff are super friendly and you can tell they love what they do. We ordered for two, each a muchitos meal with quesadillas, and it was delicious. We'll definitely be back.

03/05/2026: We stumbled upon this little restaurant while out for a stroll. And honestly, it's worth the trip; the portions are very generous for affordable prices. The service was just as good. A real gem! :)

14/04/2026: Worst restaurant I've ever eaten at, the food was awful, and after telling the staff there was no reaction, run away, it was really, really bad!

14/04/2026: The waiters were incredibly unfriendly, the oatmeal served was expired, there was more sauce than pasta, and the pasta wasn't cooked properly. The restaurant was dirty and the ceiling was dilapidated.

03/02/2026: Beware of the 250 comments that don't refer to this establishment but to another one called L'Escale, which was completely different. I completely agree with June Chine's previous comment. This bar, which had a wonderful atmosphere before being bought out, is no longer the same. The decor is different, the ambiance is different, and the customers are incredibly noisy; you can't hear yourself think. There are also a lot of fights, to the point that the police have installed CCTV. This hasn't stopped the problems. I used to go there when it was called L'Annexe, but I've stopped. In fact, when you read the comments, all those that give the establishment a positive rating are referring to the old one, when it was still owned by the previous proprietor.

15/05/2026: So I ordered the kebabs, and they were tasteless, really not good, plus there was no sauce even though I ordered it. I won't be ordering from them again. A very high price for very poor quality.

13/05/2026: Fast service, the bread is delicious.

13/05/2026: I don't mind tipping the waiter, however, it shouldn't be forced by the waiter by deliberately pressing the payment terminal. Caught red-handed, the waiter was clearly uncomfortable. Please be careful when making payments.

25/04/2026: My friends and I had a great time, the pizzas were delicious and the waiter was fantastic! I highly recommend it!
