The atmosphere is very pleasant, warm, and intimate; the staff are exceptionally kind and welcoming, a rare find these days; and the dishes are all more delicious and intriguing than the last! 26/05/2026: I made an impromptu stop in Dijon this evening, on my way elsewhere. I'm glad I did because I ended up having a truly lovely meal at Spica. All 3 courses of the fixed menu were delicious; especially the 'strawberry soup' which was a perfect, flavourful & fresh way to end a meal during a heatwave. The service, setting and wine was also perfect. No notes!
26/05/2026: Excellent, creative, and flavorful cuisine. Efficient service. You can make something delicious with simple ingredients. Lunch at 27 euros for a bistro-style meal that I highly recommend.

17/05/2026: An ideal place to discover Burgundian cuisine skillfully reimagined by the chef. A warm welcome and excellent value for money. It's slightly set back from Place de la Libération, but well worth the trip! Book ahead, you won't be disappointed.
17/05/2026: A very enjoyable time at Le Carpe Diem. The place is quite discreet, a little off the beaten path, with a calm and pleasant atmosphere. The service is delightful. The menu features Burgundian cuisine, with frog legs 🐸 and snail croquettes being a real surprise. The veal kidney with mustard sauce is very flavorful, and the beef bourguignon is melt-in-your-mouth tender. Paired with a good red Burgundy, it's hard to imagine a better experience!

23/05/2026: The three of us went out for a day in Dijon. We hadn't booked a restaurant, and this was the only affordable one close to where we were staying. The price of the set menu (€22) was perfectly reasonable for a starter, main course, and dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and highly recommend this restaurant. Please don't make the same mistake we did and book ahead to avoid going hungry.

The welcome is particularly warm, with a friendly, authentic, and family-oriented atmosphere that makes all the difference. The owner is extremely kind and attentive to his customers.
The food is homemade and of high quality. The wine list also deserves special mention. All this at an excellent price.
We will definitely be back.

13/04/2026: There were four of us at "Le Piano Qui Fume." This small but charmingly decorated restaurant, with its very attentive and courteous waiter, was a real surprise in Dijon. The food (a three-course menu) was fantastic and absolutely exquisite. The wine selection is concise, with many good wines at fair prices. As they say, "Small but perfectly formed." A hidden gem in Dijon's old town. Reservations are a must, as there are only a few tables!
