08/08/2026: Nice and authentic little family-run restaurant. We wanted to skip the usual tourist restaurants in the city center and try something a little outside of it, and it turned out great! We had two salads as appetizers that were something a little different, and we liked them a lot, although they may not suit everyone's tastes. The poached eggs in wine sauce were absolutely delicious! With the fries on the side, it was very filling. The fries on their own were okay, nothing special, but they were perfect for soaking up the sauce. The garlic and parsley frog legs were top-notch, and the portion was generous as well. There was some nice, classy music playing in the background. The interior is a little old-fashioned and could definitely use some improvement, but it's clean and comfortable, so it won't stop you from enjoying the food. The old lady was really nice. She doesn't speak English, but she still did her best to accommodate us and take our order. My girlfriend speaks a little French, which made things much easier for us. Get off the beaten path and try a real French experience!

19/08/2026: A truly wonderful experience at La Dame d’Aquitaine! The setting is exceptional, with the dining room located in a crypt, which adds a touch of charm to the meal. We also thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine: local specialties revisited with a modern, gourmet twist. The dishes were excellent and beautifully presented. A wonderful discovery that we highly recommend!

12/07/2026: A lovely pub with a large outdoor area and plenty of seating. Great service – quick and friendly. We sat there during a World Cup match and had a fantastic time. A great atmosphere! Definitely recommended, and we'll gladly come back. Thanks!

21/08/2026: Cyclists, beware! This has nothing to do with the food: it's the "Le P'tit Bouchon Dijonnais" food truck that's causing the problem. Its driver squeals his tires at roundabouts to clearly demonstrate that he's bigger than a bicycle, right-of-way or not. He nearly knocked me over. If the driving is anything like the food, I'll pass. A word to the wise!

12/06/2026: The drinks menu is particularly extensive, with a selection rarely found elsewhere. The food is equally excellent: when you go, you'll eat very well! The atmosphere is also great, and you're always warmly welcomed! I highly recommend it!

06/06/2026: The beer is good and so is the service. I recommend L'Embuscade if you like cider and sweet drinks.

17/08/2026: I stumbled upon this place and it's a great find. Today's set menu for €16 included a poached egg with Époisses cheese – absolutely delicious! And the chicken supreme with crushed potatoes was superb.
