The menu displays dishes that will awaken your taste buds highlighting local products
A good time and a nice surprise for my wife's birthday.
A downside nevertheless with this bitter feeling (after having paid around 135€) that our departure made our hosts impatient...

Cold buffet starters (more than 12 choices: homemade poitevin stuffing, black puddings, creamed mushrooms, hard-boiled eggs, radishes, tabbouleh , mackerel, mixed salad, beets...) for me veal tendon (excellent, very tender obviously, but a discovery for me, copious plates) cheeses on the buffet and dessert of your choice!
Excellent experience, we will return with pleasure.

Upon reservation, the cook will prepare a delicious Creole meal for you 😋. A restaurant like that, he will definitely see me again and I highly recommend it.

13/02/2024: This is not the first time we have come as a couple or even as a group of friends, and we have never been disappointed! The welcome is warm and we’re not going to hide it, we never leave hungry 😋!
17/01/2024: Excellent. The same kind of atmosphere you get when sat down in English pubs. Relaxing, warm, good food, very friendly reception, got to try several of the sauces. A good place to eat. Can usually find a car parking space in side roads/at front.

25/03/2024: The first thing that catches your eye when you enter is the smile of the employees. That alone makes you want to sit down and order. The place is good, small, warm and exudes good humor.
As for the menu and dishes, nothing to complain about, you will find something to eat at a reasonable price. This Saturday, I dared the sweet/salty pancake and I didn't regret it. Audacity of the mixture and a great success.
For the rest, nothing to complain about, except that we will come back for a complete meal with dessert.

25/03/2024: Quiet restaurant run by a couple who make themselves known mainly through word of mouth.
Along the river, the exterior is more reminiscent of a bar but as soon as we cross the threshold, we discover a small room which tells us that we will be cocooned there.
Careful and seasonal cuisine. There are no menus known in advance, the discovery is done on the slate.
The welcome is warm, the manager gives very good advice and talks with pleasure about his dishes and wines (the prices of which are more than affordable).
We tasted perfect meat (parthenaise). The whole meal was very good.
We will come back, especially on sunny days because the pergola should be perfect for a lunch to the sound of the lapping water.
