Very nice surprise, the setting and the superb building...
The buckwheat pancakes are excellent and plentiful.
Only homemade with regional products.👏👍

01/04/2024: We arrived today at 6, it was 1:25 p.m., no problem. We wanted to be on the outdoor terrace, a nice little courtyard not overlooked. The waitress was very pleasant and efficient.
Given our arrival time, no more menu only the card, which we understood, in any case we were attracted by the Périgord salad at €17.90. The waitress explains to us that we have all the pats together on the same plate. Perfect 6 plates then. We were taken aback by the starter just a green salad, we said to ourselves that maybe we hadn't read it correctly, in the end when we left it was clearly written gizzard salad, the gizzards got lost between the kitchen and our table .
Furthermore, I have doubts about the enchaud, (to make it) it is more fragrant, there is garlic and normally it is braised before being confit. Wouldn't it just be a banal pork confit that we were served?
I'm not going to say it was bad but not representative of the dish advertised.

05/04/2024: We went to dinner last Wednesday evening for the first time at the Hôtel Dieu restaurant, invited by our son and daughter-in-law. We had a pleasant evening, excellent food... I was reconciled with Paris-Brest, 😉 I was not a big fan of this cake. Top service and we were able to exchange a few words with the chef, who offered us an aperitif.
Well done 👍!
01/04/2024: It's also very good to put your opinion on social networks, but it must be fair. Accepting a remark is not degrading even if it touches pride. You can't be on top of everything. Being humble points out that we can also be wrong, it's not so serious, it's progress.
I came it was good and good, I gave you three stars, I hope that on my next visit I could give you five stars.

The cocktails are very good there. The delicious meal, especially the duck breast.

23/03/2024: We came for lunch this afternoon with the dog and a baby. Great and very warm welcome with lots of little touches for baby and dog. And what's more, the meal was delicious! The menu at 18€, from starter to dessert, everything was perfect and very good value for money! We recommend & we will come back on our next visit to this beautiful region!

01/04/2024: Additional sauces paid 0.50 cents instead of 0.30 cents (price on the menu) I took 5 extra.
When paying, I tell the person responsible. He tells me that since the start of the year it has increased even though I came 3 weeks before and paid 0.30 cents. (Lies very badly)
In addition to being an idiot, he scammed me out of almost 1 euro on the change.
I will never return to this establishment.
For a restaurant chain this is SHAMEFUL!!

The waiters are not able to bring the right dish or the bill to the right table, a smile is optional. The waiter who has just started is reprimanded in front of the customers…. Shameful management. A real tourist trap in the fullest sense of the word. Absolutely avoid!

14/01/2024: Some of the best food in the Dordogne valley. Near to Sarlat, Domme, and Beynac. The people there are very accommodating, and the dining room is very charming. Highly recommended.

03/04/2024: Good welcome and pleasant service. A very correct lunch menu and good value for money. Too bad, the only downside is that the pizza maker who systematically places his palette in the oven on the ground wherever he walks, not great for hygiene (shoe soles and eating tools do not go well together).

A restaurant in Sarlat that is not a tourist trap is nice!
