Warm and efficient staff. Traditional cuisine, hearty and tasty daily specials. A place of life and conviviality.
To try it is to adopt it. In Chartres, the sun is not always in the sky, but you can always find it behind the counter of the Brasserie de l'Ouest.

29/09/2024: Out of all the terminals only three were working when I came, greasy chair
28/09/2024: It was pouring with rain. We had been driving for hours. We were in a town we didn't know and our hotel had closed the kitchen.
McDonald's was the answer!
Food was hot and tasty. Staff were helpful and friendly.

25/09/2024: Came yesterday morning to have a hot drink with my wife.
My impression hasn't changed one bit.
Building always dirty with greasy and sticky floor.
Unsmiling staff and above all very nonchalant (politeness does not scratch the tongue, however)
More than 10 minutes of waiting for simple coffee and chocolate even though there was almost no one there.
The person who starts our order leaves the chocolate aside and takes their time to start another order, leaving the chocolate aside to cool.
Really disappointed again and again...
25/09/2024: I had a smiling and very attentive older woman at the drive-thru this afternoon who took the time to explain the products.

17/07/2024: To flee!! It's not what it used to be. No cocktails, no Llight coke or oasis... the manager wanted to serve us on a dirty table and when my husband politely asked him to clean it he got angry. We won't come back!!
12/07/2024: A typical French tabac restaurant nice table outside but it was raining so inside! The room was dark and miserable. Good coffee but poor choice of food.
Main problem was the terrible toilets

I had a voucher from the Chartres cinema entitling me to a sandwich for the purchase of a maxi best of menu. I took a maxi best of mac nuggets menu for 9€70 (I looked at the price later). I wanted a 280 sandwich but the waitress told me that it was not possible because the 280 alone is more expensive than the nuggets menu except I just looked also, the 280 sandwich is 7€20 so less expensive than the menu that I had taken. so I opted for a mac first sandwich. I went to McDonald's for my children, we're not ready to go back.

29/11/2024: How can I put it… At 6 p.m., there were still 7 baguettes on display. I ask for 3, and I am told that there are only 2.5 left. Frankly, I don't understand on what principle this bakery works. I think there would be a lot of things to review, particularly customer reception.

White sauce made with freeze-dried herbs, so too strong in mint taste.
Limp and uninspiring fries. Disappointing ++++

16/07/2024: Rien n'est thaï dans ce restaurant. Les pad thaï un plat typique et franchement pas difficile à faire sont fades seulement pâtes soja poulet et des petits bouts verts en guise d'accompagnement. Le curry jaune aussi fade. Très décevant. Et ça n'est même pas bon marché. On n'y retournera pas c'est sûr.
23/06/2024: I am a tourist from america and this was the best Thai I have ever had. The food was delicious and service was fast. I had the kids meal because I wasn't too hungry but it was very good; definitely recommend.

A disaster :( when you enter no one to welcome and you have the impression of disturbing when you come to eat. 45min of waiting to get our dishes when the restaurant is not even full, not received the right quantities on the all-you-can-eat buffet so you don't even want to order again because it's so long :( and I'm still waiting for my BoBun after 1h30 in the restaurant oO
The majority of dishes consist of 99% rice compacted on a tasteless tuna/salmon leaf...
In short, this type of restaurant should be avoided urgently!!

18/08/2024: This will teach me not to take the time to read comments before ordering and to want to change my habits...
This is the first time I've found myself eating such a tasteless, bland, uninteresting pizza... A real disappointment!
