11/05/2026: A large, charming house, ideally located at the foot of the cathedral. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated (the bathroom was magnificent). The owners are very friendly and helpful. However, I deducted a star for the breakfast, which was disastrous (except for the homemade jam and freshly squeezed orange juice). The pastries and bread were mass-produced, the hot chocolate was microwaved, etc. A real shame.

08/05/2026: We had a wonderful evening at this bar yesterday. The setting is really pleasant, the welcome was excellent, and the little appetizers were much appreciated. A great atmosphere, we'll gladly come back!

07/07/2026: We had a wonderful meal in a peaceful setting, with very welcoming and friendly staff. The only downside was the price I paid without checking the itemized bill. I didn't understand it, and I was wrong not to check it. I only started wondering about it after leaving Chartres. I think there was a table mix-up. 2 pizzas + 2 beers (€25) + 1 rosé + 2 coffees = €75 🙄

04/07/2026: After waiting 55 minutes to be served while everyone else around us was being served, they just forgot about us! Unbelievable! They brought us a glass of champagne to make us wait. I was about to get up and leave without paying for my spritzes. That's it, they won't see me again.

27/07/2026: Very nice restaurant, with a pleasant location. The waiter, Laurent (I think), was very kind and professional. I had a very good meal. 😊 You can go there without hesitation.

18/07/2026: Well, the staff seemed a bit stressed. The owner seemed very unapproachable; I missed the warmth we'd experienced from the French countryside over the past two weeks. Food was expensive but good, drinks were on the pricier side. The wait for food was quite long.

18/06/2026: Extremely unpleasant. The drunk owner came out of his parking lot, started honking like crazy, and spoke very rudely because he's a former taxi driver. Of course, the problem wasn't so much the parking, since we were right next to our vehicles, but rather the "private driver" and "VTC" label he and his taxi colleagues slap on us. They hate us... Unfortunately for you, we had every right to be where we were because we're guests at the hotel next door. I would have liked to have a constructive dialogue with you, but you're stubborn. Oh well, no hard feelings.

28/07/2026: I've never been disappointed by this Subway; I used to go there often when I was in Chartres. The staff is very friendly, and I always enjoy my meal. Absolutely nothing to complain about! If I go back to Chartres, I'll definitely stop there!

19/07/2026: Worst Subway ever, never go there! Like a previous comment from 7 months ago, the fillings are still not as advertised. In my sandwich, there were only 3 peppers and 3 olives, count them carefully; you have a serious problem with quantity. For the price we pay, you're clearly overcharging! And even when I asked for more, it was the worst sandwich I've ever eaten, especially for a Maxi at €12.40 without a meal deal! You're the only ones who do this, so don't make excuses about being stingy. It's truly shameful; change the manager if that can improve the situation because right now it's awful!
