10/09/2024: Nice restaurant, good location, excellent and fast service. The dishes ordered were good but the pancakes were a bit too oily. After eating our pancakes we were too full to be able to order a dessert. Next time we will stop to only eat desserts :)

17/12/2024: It had been 3 or 4 years since I had not returned but this time it was definitely the last. The staff is the only positive thing about my stay. Nothing to say, the team does its best and with a smile. - Zero point cooking: beyond the fact that my sea bass fillet must have weighed 40g to break, it was immersed in frying and was as tough as the dry ones found on the beaches in summer! - Taste: tasteless! So-called candied lemon sauce, I'm still looking for it, unless it was water with a few herbs? - Presentation of the dishes: it reminded me of my years in the canteen in primary school but at least my parents didn't pay €24 for the menu! In short, if you are looking for a restaurant in Chartres at midday, go to the city center, you will have real cuisine with starter + main course menus for €22 and you will work not with chains but with real artisans.

29/09/2024: Well located, the hotel offers impeccable service both in terms of well-decorated, clean and comfortable rooms and in terms of quality breakfast. The welcome is perfect, professional and pleasant from start to finish. The bar is beautiful and worth a visit too for a cocktail🍸even without staying at the hotel!

29/09/2024: We had a very pleasant stay in this place. Very clean and luxurious suite. Top notch bedding. We had our dinner at the hotel brasserie. Excellent and very friendly staff. Hearty breakfast. Special mention to Clara and especially Arthur… I promise if I pass through Chartres dear Arthur you will be able to pilot (out of service of course… the Granturismo) and I always keep my promises. Small suggestion however, following a disappointment... it would perhaps be necessary to arrange a time slot for children's spa access under the responsibility of the parents. 04/08/2024: Since the change of ownership, be very careful between the prices displayed/announced and the prices charged at the checkout which are not the same!!!! You have to check each time. Good quality products but not very motivated staff.

12/01/2025: While passing through Chartes on December 24 to enjoy the Christmas market, we had a good time at the chocolate factory where the atmosphere was warm and cocooning. A little plus for the chocobueno which was delicious and a big plus for Célia who served us with great kindness!

04/11/2024: Nous avons couché une nuit au Parvis ; très gentiment accueillis par François et son fils. Petit hôtel merveilleusement situé à une minute de la cathédrale. Chambre impeccable avec petit salon impeccables. Une super adresse. petit déjeuner très copieux. Patron pince sans rire et bienveillant. Bref, nous y retournerons !

25/09/2024: I stayed in this lovely, small hotel for one night in September 2024. The staff were friendly and I enjoyed the breakfast. Guests can see the cathedral from the front steps. I would stay here again.

18/09/2024: Being a big fan of the chain, I eat there whenever possible, always with good sandwiches, a pleasant welcome and speed of service! The only downside being the lack of parking space, I recommend this restaurant.

17/09/2024: I was desperately looking for a pub in Chartres, but a REAL one! I was looking for a decor, an atmosphere and of course: the menu that goes with it. Finally I found it after many fruitless and disappointing searches. The Ellan-Vannin is EXACTLY what I was looking for. The atmosphere and decor reminds me of certain old school London pubs where I had my habits, woodwork and posters glorifying what the occupants like. What can I say about the menu... First time I've seen draft Guinness in Chartres, I'm in heaven, and a myriad of Whiskeys, I've arrived in paradise! The boss welcomed me like a genuine man, you can believe that he is not smiling but his heart shows through as the conversation progresses. Should I say an “ancient host”? (Be careful, in my words this is one of the greatest compliments). I love everything about this pub, without having tasted their food yet (but I couldn't resist posting my opinion already) I saw the nibbles they served, it's made with love and that to looks delicious! I FINALLY found it and I can't wait to go back! A new regular.

12/08/2024: One of our favorite bars! The atmosphere is cool, the choice of drinks is vast and the team is top notch! Not to mention the most significant: the chef's cuisine.

07/12/2024: This all-you-can-eat restaurant has become a little expensive compared to before, especially on weekends so we frequent it more during the week on Wednesdays with the children but too crowded with lunch breaks, Otherwise it's good, lots of choice for everyone, there are not only Asian dishes even if I personally prefer to eat Asian. But it allows people who don't like to find a little bit of everything. Wide choice of dessert. I never understood the measures taken against them for hygiene I think it's mainly a racist attack. It would be better to check the McDonald's which are really disgusting. We have never been sick in this restaurant, the toilets are clean and the room is maintained, it is unjustified...

07/12/2024: Small restaurant with around fifty tables. Good welcome and the dishes are good. And their cappuccino! 😋😋😋Small black spot, just around thirty parking spaces, from what I saw. Other than that, nice little restaurant👍

25/09/2024: Juste que se faire servir une pinte de 33cl au lieu de 50cl pour 9,10€, ça m'agace et ça fait attrape touristes... Sinon c'est correct.

14/09/2024: Virgin Mojito servi en terrasse le 14/09/2024. 1/3 de glace dans le verre ... pour 8€ !! le serveur pas souriant, pas aimable. je n'y retournerai plus.
