04/05/2026: I've never seen a restaurant with such terrible hours. Seriously, the restaurant closes at 8 PM already??? That's when they clearly have the most orders, and on Mondays they close at 3 PM. I don't understand the logic. First, you lose money by closing at the times when it's busiest, and second, it's a real hassle to eat there. I feel like it's closed all the time; it's absurd.

25/04/2026: The waitress made a very disrespectful remark about me sitting inside with friends because I wasn't ordering anything, even though my friends had each ordered a meal and the place was completely empty. I'd forgotten I was in a Michelin-starred restaurant. Very poor customer service; I don't recommend it, especially considering the mediocre quality of the food. I'm updating my review to clarify that I did, of course, greet the waitress and remained polite. So, in addition to being unprofessional, you're a liar and a bunch of incompetent staff. Furthermore, I did have a can of soda from outside the fast-food restaurant, which clearly irritated your waitress, who must have been frustrated with her job. P.S.: The person responding to comments also seems irritated and doesn't accept criticism of their disrespectful staff, especially since several reviews concern the waitress/manager (the brunette who is on her phone all the time and who sulks) who is disrespectful and dishonest, level 0 of professionalism, you wouldn't even think it was a franchise, really avoid it.

30/05/2026: We ate there two nights in a row. The owner was friendly, the waiter (a future doctor) was pleasant and competent, as was the waitress. The pizzas were good, the Italian salad very generous, and the pasta carbonara excellent. We'll definitely go back on our next trips to Chartres.

24/05/2026: Previously very good, I was very disappointed with the pizza I was served. The Primavera was dry, with too little topping, and a disappointing taste. And we're talking about an €18 pizza here…

23/05/2026: We took a day trip to Chartres from Paris and spent the morning at the cathedral. By lunch we were hungry and ready for some food. This place is so adorable (the inside is straight out of Instagram) and we loved that the patio had a view of the cathedral. We ordered some drinks and then I had a burger while my sister had duck. We also had some sorbet afterwards. Food was delicious! We know that dining in France is always relaxed in it's pacing so we felt pretty chill about the service. However, at the end it honestly felt like the servers were avoiding our entire section so I couldn't wave them down. After being there for two hours we were ready to leave until finally she came close enough to ask for the check. Their bathroom, however, was the cleanest and nicest bathroom I've seen in my time in France.

25/05/2026: Had a great lunch here. Excellent service and we ordered off the menu du jour. We both had the grilled sea bream which was recommended and perfect for lunch. We shared a bottle of Sancerre rosé which was again recommended and delicious. Desserts also top notch. No hesitation to recommend

11/05/2026: A large, charming house, ideally located at the foot of the cathedral. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated (the bathroom was magnificent). The owners are very friendly and helpful. However, I deducted a star for the breakfast, which was disastrous (except for the homemade jam and freshly squeezed orange juice). The pastries and bread were mass-produced, the hot chocolate was microwaved, etc. A real shame.

11/05/2026: Bad experience. "Les Vieux Garçons" was full, so we ended up going to your place. Luckily, the student who served us had a sense of humor. The starter was quick, but we waited an hour and a half for a cold main course, and the hot dish arrived cold and we had to send it back without any explanation from management or any gesture of goodwill! What a shame.

02/05/2026: Excellent restaurant near the charming market, fast and efficient service, refined and very well executed, reasonably priced, and a very professional welcome. Well worth the detour…

31/10/2025: We went to La Napolitaine using a Smartbox voucher. The pizza was the best we've had in a long time, and the size was larger than usual. The ingredients were high quality. The service was quick and the waitress was pleasant. The desserts were just as delicious as the pizzas. Don't judge a book by its cover 😉, what matters is what's on your plate. Thank you for a lovely experience.

21/09/2025: An impromptu dinner with my wife last night. Always and still a must-visit place to enjoy pizzas; they are by far the best in Chartres. The service is impeccable. We barely arrived with our dog, and without asking, the owner brought her a drink! A thoughtful touch. Congratulations to the entire team for your professionalism and perseverance, given the construction work that must be disrupting your business somewhat. A big thank you, Patrick Bazot.

06/02/2026: A lovely little get-together on Wednesday evening. We received a very warm welcome in a beautifully decorated room, the cocktails were perfect, and the snacks were delicious.

14/05/2026: Great, the room is nice and comfortable, not too noisy and the staff are very pleasant. It's a little expensive but still within reason. I think the toilets are also chargeable? But I recommend it!

16/03/2026: If you're looking for a restaurant open in the evening before a show at the Colosseum... this is the one to choose. Very welcoming, excellent value for money. We had booked in advance.
