31/08/2026: The waiter was incredibly rude and aggressive towards people walking by. It doesn't make you want to come back.

27/08/2026: We were having a quiet drink on the terrace this morning when the owner completely berated a passerby who was talking to a man in a car. He made a real scene. What a mentality! This shopkeeper has a serious aggression problem… We were very disappointed and will never set foot in there again!

27/09/2026: Impeccable service; the owner is very attentive and takes care of everything while the man just twiddles his thumbs... (it's amusing to watch). The food is satisfactory, though not exceptional. The veal kidneys are very good, but the portions are too small for my liking. A decent place that could benefit from improvement.

26/09/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed the food. The gravlax salmon was delicious and beautifully presented. The ribeye steak, which I had ordered rare, was unfortunately a little overcooked, but this didn't spoil our experience. A minor point about the wine was that it really lacked freshness. Special mention goes to the profiteroles, recommended by our server Laurent: absolutely divine! As for the service, we received a very warm welcome in a tastefully decorated and pleasant setting. A big thank you to the owner who managed to find us a table despite my specific requirements. And thank you to Laurent for his professionalism, friendliness, and attentiveness throughout the meal. We had a very pleasant evening at this restaurant, which we were discovering for the first time, and we will certainly return with great pleasure!

10/07/2026: A cosy and beautifully decorated suit just at the foot of the cathedral. You open the window and have the feeling you can just reach for the cathedral. Delicious breakfast, friendly and forthcoming personell. Lots of good restaurants around the location, 2-3 minutes walk.

11/05/2026: A large, charming house, ideally located at the foot of the cathedral. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated (the bathroom was magnificent). The owners are very friendly and helpful. However, I deducted a star for the breakfast, which was disastrous (except for the homemade jam and freshly squeezed orange juice). The pastries and bread were mass-produced, the hot chocolate was microwaved, etc. A real shame.

31/10/2025: We went to La Napolitaine using a Smartbox voucher. The pizza was the best we've had in a long time, and the size was larger than usual. The ingredients were high quality. The service was quick and the waitress was pleasant. The desserts were just as delicious as the pizzas. Don't judge a book by its cover 😉, what matters is what's on your plate. Thank you for a lovely experience.

21/09/2025: An impromptu dinner with my wife last night. Always and still a must-visit place to enjoy pizzas; they are by far the best in Chartres. The service is impeccable. We barely arrived with our dog, and without asking, the owner brought her a drink! A thoughtful touch. Congratulations to the entire team for your professionalism and perseverance, given the construction work that must be disrupting your business somewhat. A big thank you, Patrick Bazot.

24/09/2026: A very good brasserie. The value for money is excellent. Choosing the prawn risotto with parmesan was a very good decision on our part. A great place to go on a Monday evening when other restaurants are closed. I highly recommend it.

23/09/2026: Fantastic food and fantastic service! We had the entrecôte and the steak tartare - beautiful! Highly recommend this place for a typical French brasserie style food!

28/07/2026: I've never been disappointed by this Subway; I used to go there often when I was in Chartres. The staff is very friendly, and I always enjoy my meal. Absolutely nothing to complain about! If I go back to Chartres, I'll definitely stop there!

19/07/2026: Worst Subway ever, never go there! Like a previous comment from 7 months ago, the fillings are still not as advertised. In my sandwich, there were only 3 peppers and 3 olives, count them carefully; you have a serious problem with quantity. For the price we pay, you're clearly overcharging! And even when I asked for more, it was the worst sandwich I've ever eaten, especially for a Maxi at €12.40 without a meal deal! You're the only ones who do this, so don't make excuses about being stingy. It's truly shameful; change the manager if that can improve the situation because right now it's awful!

16/06/2026: Honestly, I expected better. The place is nice, the location is beautiful, but we felt like we were bothering them from beginning to end. Our order was forgotten, the waiter was nowhere to be found, and when we finally managed to get someone's attention, the reception was frankly appalling. For the price, we have the right to expect a minimum level of service. We won't be going back.
