A real improvement in the portion size of fries, which had been disappointing in recent years.
The waitress was attentive and provided excellent service. A great place for family meals, even with young children.

01/07/2026: A modern hotel outside the city but quite convenient to get to and with ample parking. The concierge kindly gave us a larger and cooler room than ours, as it was very hot. Breakfast was average. We didn't use the spa. The location near a major road is a bit noisy; fans would be appreciated if it was very hot, as we experienced.
17/06/2026: A very warm welcome at this hotel. The room wasn't very large, especially the desk, but it was clean. The small bathroom was adequate.
The evening meal was very basic. Breakfast offered a choice of options.
The only downside was the poor soundproofing; you could hear the traffic, especially the trucks going up the hill.

16/07/2026: Incredible Creole restaurant! The decor, music, and food will transport you to the heart of the islands for the duration of your meal. The prices are more than reasonable considering the generous portions! There were seven of us, and everyone loved the food. Whether it was the chicken, the fish, or the prawns... it was all absolutely delicious.
And finally, the waitress and the owner are wonderful people.
If you're passing through, don't hesitate to stop by this restaurant. If you're from the area, I imagine you've already fallen in love with it :)
16/07/2026: You won't find anything exotic in the cuisine, and the atmosphere was sorely lacking. The service was lackluster, and the decor was plasticky.

07/05/2026: came here because they were a kouign amann winner in 2019. The shop lady was very sweet, tge gateaux breton pomme was very good, as was the chou Chantilly (with very good whipped cream). The kouign amann was fine but I felt it was a little undercooked/doughy in the middle, but perhaps it's just not my thing. Still a lovely experience and would recommend.
25/04/2026: A stroll through Landerneau led us here. An ice cream stand really tempted us; different flavors, affordable prices, and a warm welcome! My 4-year-old daughter loved her strawberry ice cream, and so did our kids!! We wanted to get it to go, but the friendly welcome made us sit on the terrace. A truly lovely time and simply sublime products—beauty and taste are definitely present! I will recommend it to my friends 👍😊

23/07/2026: Honestly, paying €13.35 for an empty burger...what a disgrace!!! No sauces, no choice of drinks (no Diet Coke (or iced tea/fuze tea), knowing that regular Coke costs an extra €0.14, they should at least offer Diet Coke!!!). I don't think I can post photos unfortunately, but frankly, serving such an empty burger for that price is pathetic!
20/07/2026: The delivery was impeccable, however, the cheddar fries were a bit thin, with just a tiny bit of fries on the bottom. Considering the price, I would have liked more, and I would have preferred them to be hot, but that's to be expected. And paying €3.60 for a tiny thing in a small coffee cup on a Sunday is something that needs to be reconsidered.

05/01/2025: Dejeuner entre amis au 2eme service car tres demandé. Accueil tres sympathique, carte bien equilibrée et menus plats entrée dessery. Bonnes bieres locales. Plats copieux et bien presentés. Le pesked khig a farz eyait excellent, bien accompagné par une biere locale. Salle claire mais un.peu bruyante. A fréquenter sans hésitation.
09/12/2024: Nous étions 12 membres/copains d’une association de Lannion, venus visiter la rétrospective Cartier-Bresson.
De la réservation jusqu’au règlement de la facture au comptoir, tout s’est parfaitement déroulé.
Le Goéland est un restaurant de taille moyenne, qui semble très fréquenté, puisqu’il y avait deux Services un 29 novembre. Nous qui sommes arrivés à midi, nous pensions qu’il n’y aurait personne au deuxième service, mais pas du tout : le restaurant était toujours plein, avec une clientèle d’habitués.
Il faut dire qu’il est merveilleusement situé, sur le pont habité. Et que tout est bon : viande et poisson étaient parfaitement cuits, les frites délicieuses, et les desserts trop bons !
Que demander de plus ? Un service à la hauteur ? Mais bien sûr, nous avons été parfaitement accueillis et conseillés. Nous saurons désormais où aller à Landerneau….
