04/03/2026: We came this Wednesday evening as a couple with our 4-year-old son.
Someone picked us up on a snowmobile for the round trip since the restaurant is located on the slopes.
We had a wonderful time!
We loved the snowmobile ride, and so did our son!
The dishes were excellent and generous!
The whole team was incredibly friendly, and the setting is beautiful!
I highly recommend booking your evening!
We will definitely be back!

03/04/2026: Excellent restaurant. We come here every time we're in the area. The menu is varied with many mountain specialties. A real plus: a dish made with goat's cheese, which is very pleasant for those intolerant to cow's milk. We had the Irish tartiflette, made with salmon, which was original and delicious. They also have buckwheat crepes and pizzas at very reasonable prices. A carafe of wine for €10 is excellent. The chocolate fondant is also very good. The service is very pleasant and friendly. Nothing to add. Except, remember to book ahead as it's always full in the evening.

04/04/2026: Nice restaurant, but the portion of the porcini mushroom fondue wasn't very generous… the charcuterie portion was very small and there were hardly any porcini mushrooms. Otherwise, the ribeye steak was good. Friendly staff. Okay for an evening out.

I think this restaurant is one of the places you absolutely shouldn't miss if you're visiting the Allos mountains.
The first thing that will strike you when you walk through the doors of this restaurant is the warm welcome you receive.
Then you'll discover cuisine that rivals the finest chefs in my region, all at a very reasonable price. It was an incredible surprise to find this place, which may not look like much at first glance, but is definitely worth a visit.

08/03/2026: Disappointing since the change of ownership, expensive food, barely friendly waiters... There were five of us, and we were moved to a table for four. I then found a plastic tag in my plate and felt like I was bothering them when I pointed it out... We really miss the old team and the self-service area with its reasonable prices.
23/02/2026: New owners! This "family" gave us a very warm welcome, and our table of 14 (!) didn't even have time to finish our aperitifs before the main courses arrived perfectly, and we thoroughly enjoyed them! A great break on the slopes, I highly recommend it. As an added bonus, a shot of génépi (€5) with a coffee (€2) is perfect for a boost during your morning or afternoon break – nothing better!

16/03/2026: The food was decent but very expensive, even for a ski resort.
The most disappointing aspect was the service. The day after our lunch, we returned for coffee. An employee told us it was fine and offered us a seat at the bar. The owner then arrived and curtly explained that we couldn't have a coffee without ordering food, practically throwing us out.
This was very unpleasant behavior and completely at odds with the friendly reputation we had been told about. It's a shame; we won't be back.

Very long wait even with a reservation (about an hour to be served).
The fries are like McDonald's.

29/03/2026: It's not so much a question of quality as of quantity on the plate... especially for the price! €6 for half a glass of white wine is a bit steep. Perhaps we should have checked reviews of other restaurants before choosing. Anyway. It's a shame, the place is nice.
13/03/2026: Disappointed. Too expensive. There are much better options in the resort. All starters are €15, all main courses €30, but they're not all equal...

25/03/2026: The bedding was cramped and very hard. The welcome was rude.
What I also find hard to accept is that the manager recommended a parking lot, which I went to, and the next day I got a parking ticket. She told me she would reimburse the fine, but after two reminder emails, still nothing. It's a shame; we were left with a bad impression for only €35...
15/02/2026: I came for work with a group of children to enjoy a waffle. We received a very warm welcome, and the staff were friendly and patient. The waffles were generous and delicious. I recommend it.

08/09/2024: Hotel restaurant in its own right which has been its charm for several decades that I have known it, the owner always so welcoming. The food is very good as well as the breakfast. Very friendly staff too.
31/08/2024: Hotel restaurant at the foot of the Val d Allos slopes.. Friendly and dynamic welcome. Meals with local specialties… a real delight…. Cute room with a breathtaking view of the Col d Allos. A place to remember….👍👌

18/03/2024: A friendly beer bar in the center of La Foux. A convivial atmosphere, ideal after a good day of skiing. Plenty of beer to choose from, of course, but also pizza. You can also enjoy tapas, bruschetta, or pizzas. We tried the pizzas; they were good and very generous. Reasonable prices.
18/03/2024: Bar à 🍺 sympathique dans le centre de la Foux. Ambiance conviviale, idéal après une bonne journée de ski. Beaucoup de bières au choix, évidemment, mais aussi du🍷. Possibilité de déguster des tapas, bruschetta ou pizzas. Nous avons testé les pizzas, bonnes et très copieuses. Tarifs corrects.

11/08/2024: Venu passer quelques jours à Allos, nous avons testé suite au changement de direction. Une belle découverte gourmande qui ne vous laissera pas sur votre faim.

07/08/2024: Menu varié. Tout ce que nous avons commandé (nous étions 5) était excellent, servi en bonne quantité, avec un service au top avec une grande adaptabilité !
Un vrai bon moment que je recommande largement !

02/11/2024: Le cadre est très beau et la nourriture très bonne aussi mais il faudrait arrêter de prendre des commandes à partir d’un certain stade. On a attendu 1h40 pour 3 burgers sans le pain bio prévu de base car les stocks étaient finis. C’est beaucoup trop cher pour la prestation attendue
