31/07/2026: We stumbled upon this place after visiting the Matisse Museum. What a fantastic experience! The food was unpretentious but delicious and plentiful, and the staff were lovely and incredibly welcoming! I highly recommend it!

22/07/2026: We went to this restaurant for lunch with high expectations, but unfortunately, we left disappointed. The fries weren't homemade, which was a shame. As for the daily special, the portion was so small it would have been more suitable as a starter. Considering the quality and quantity of the food served, we didn't feel it was worth the price. Overall, a disappointing experience.

03/08/2026: We went for coffee this morning. €4.70 for two coffees... We didn't realize it was on the Promenade des Anglais. Furthermore, the owner spoke inappropriately to his waiter in front of the customers.

19/08/2026: ...for 18 euros, a "Nice salad" where the lettuce was bagged, there was one sad little echo, half an egg, a piece of artichoke, and a bit of tuna—very little to eat. Even the bread was inedible, strangely enough, nothing like the photo I just saw on the website. Do they serve different things depending on the customer? Very disappointed...

19/06/2026: Small place to buy sweet or savory bread 🥖🥐🍞, I loved the fresh and crusty baguette, also some mini pastries (I don't remember the French name) but I liked everything I tried, good prices, I recommend it

01/08/2026: We absolutely fell in love with this brasserie. For several days now, we've been having both breakfast and lunch there, and each visit is a true pleasure. The food is simply excellent: quality ingredients, flavorful dishes prepared with great care. As for the staff, they are exceptional: warm, welcoming, smiling, and always attentive. You feel right at home. Every meal is a wonderful experience that we recommend without hesitation. If you're ever in the area, don't miss this place. 30/07/2026: A new review after 3 years… Still a loyal customer after the 2036 renovations. The staff is fantastic and welcoming. The price of the daily special has increased, but so has the quality… The customer is the winner. I highly recommend it, and that's coming from a local! A great brasserie with excellent daily specials. Friendly staff. I'm a regular customer every holiday now. For the price of the daily specials, there's no need to cook. You might as well take them away. Or enjoy them there.

12/07/2026: Excellent bakery! I'm a regular and I've never been disappointed. Their bread is delicious, with a special mention for the olive bread, which is truly excellent. I often get their baguette, which is always crusty and flavorful. As for pastries, I often treat myself to the lemon meringue pie; it's excellent. Their cream puffs are also a real delight! In addition to the quality of the products, the saleswomen are always smiling, welcoming, and pleasant. It's a real pleasure to come to this bakery. I highly recommend it!

15/01/2026: Florida Beach is a bit of a place where locals test their tans and their balance on pebbles simultaneously. A pleasant and peaceful beach, ideal for swimming, strolling, or simply lying down with a sea view without having to negotiate every inch of sand with a crowd of tourists. In terms of practicality, access is easy and the facilities are basic: showers, a few benches, and parasols to share as if it were some kind of mini-Olympics of patience. The prices are ridiculously low for a public beach, so enjoyment is guaranteed at minimal cost—provided you like walking on pebbles. In short: a tranquil beach, perfect for relaxing, enjoying the sea, and practicing the subtle sport of "pebble jogging"—your ankles will thank you… or not.

14/08/2026: The food was pretty good overall, but they're clearly trying to rip off tourists. We asked for a carafe of water, and they told us they didn't have it in their restaurant. Even after insisting, the waiter refused to serve us. So we ended up paying 8 euros for just a bottle of water. It's unacceptable, especially since it's a legal requirement.

20/06/2026: Dinner before the show at Nikaia. Impeccable, very good, and incredible desserts. We'll definitely be back. P.S.: Note that they close at 7:30 pm even on show days, so plan your dinner in advance!

A truly warm welcome that was a pleasure, and on top of that, the baguettes were delicious, perfectly crusty, and of very high quality. A wonderful discovery! 28/07/2026: The staff were welcoming and friendly overall. The bakery uses organic flour, which is definitely a plus for your health. My review only concerns the traditional baguette, which is significantly better than the classic baguette in my opinion. I already gave a review three years ago, and it hasn't changed. On the positive side, I find this "traditional" baguette very good as long as it's fresh, meaning just for a few hours. On the negative side, I find that the baking is sometimes uneven (overcooked and/or too thin), that it lacks crispness, and especially that it gets soggy very quickly. Purchased late in the morning, it's already soft by the evening, regardless of the weather, whether it's humid or not. Is this due to the organic flour?

28/07/2026: This is my second year in Nice,that means a must go back to Pain & CIE, close to the beach,french vibes & tasty restaurant. Lovely variety ! Always start with a warm welcome from the staff members and making sure you enjoy your time, make little jokes, make you feel seen and interactive , a very positive, funny, very local & warm atmosphere. Thank you again for the good funny laughter we had through out my experience in your restaurant/bar. (Insider: El Padre thanks for the shoe! Haha)

25/07/2026: A very disappointing experience from start to finish. There were three of us, and we all had the same conclusion: the matcha drinks were simply undrinkable. We asked for them to be remade, but the new matcha came back with cow's milk, even though we had explicitly requested almond milk. Another rather telling moment: when we asked what a "ube latte" was, the waitress told us it was... violet syrup. A basic understanding of the products offered seems essential. The worst part was the staff's attitude: unfriendly, dismissive, and incapable of admitting their mistakes. Instead of taking responsibility for the problems, the explanations given were contradictory and unbelievable. When the bill arrived, we ended up paying for three out of four drinks, and without any exorbitant extra charge for the plant-based milk that was never in our drinks. Mistakes can happen, but the accumulation of errors, the lack of professionalism, and the staff's attitude made this a particularly unpleasant experience. We will not be returning. Avoid at all costs!
