07/09/2024: Quite mixed: the servers were friendly and the service was fast enough, however that unfortunately did not improve the taste quality which was quite mediocre: a feeling that my dish had been reheated. A certain stomach ache afterwards, for my companion and myself. I would like to give one star but considering the servers who were great I prefer to leave 2 because the cuisine, I reiterate, leaves something to be desired.

31/08/2024: Terrible place. Food is not delicious. The waiter spilled sauce on my dress. The waiter didn't apologize. The service was terrible. I don't recommend this place

07/09/2024: Very good discovery. Quebec specialties, but not only that! The ribs are delicious and very well served, and the fajitas too.

18/09/2024: There are few two-stars Michelin restaurants nearby. I visited two of them during this holiday. Unfortunately, I think I got the hopes up too high. As much as I really appreciated the effort the chef made (some of them are good enough to get stars), this place seemed to have room for some improvements. Especially, the hospitality and the service was definitely not qualified for Michelin two stars restaurant based on my experiences. It had taken more than 30 mins to have the next dish in some case since they took the previous dish away and I think it took almost 6 hours to finish the dinner. (They might have had some communication miss during the serve...) It's okay to have some proud as a Michelin restaurant, but it was a bit nuisance to see the attitude of the server. It was not only us to think that way, because the other people around me actually said the same. I haven't felt that way when even I visited several higher-ranked restaurants in Paris or the other cities ever. I felt a bit sorry for a promising and talented restaurant to be evaluated this way. Last but not least, it might be not the best place for Asian tourists for some reason. If you taste the dishes, you can easily acknowledge the familiar Asian touch. It may be not a kinda restaurant you expect when it comes to French dining. (It's a matter of getting used to it. Western people may possibly think different way)

17/09/2024: I ate there last week. The place is nice and so are the workers, but I didn't like the food. It looks delicious but the sauce (which already comes inside the sandwiches) is not pleasant. The quality of the food is good but the combination of flavors is not. I had a tea from the house but the taste was not pleasant either, it was like sour, like stale. It was a bit disappointing since I paid €9 for the sandwich. If they changed the sauce I would give it another chance.

26/06/2024: Really nice shop to get some gifts for friends and family. Really nice service. The shop looks really nice and well organized. For sure I will go back there is I need some goods as presents or even for my home! If you are near I would recommend you pass by!

10/09/2024: Menu at 21€ main course drink dessert taken daily special correct pleasant service. Pleasant terrace and despite the proximity of the street not too noisy. Practical and quick for lunch.

02/09/2024: They are very nice and the food is delicious. The only thing is that it takes a while to bring the food, but it is really worth the wait.

27/08/2024: Good reception, the products such as meat or chicken are very good, the fries are excellent, a small downside on the garnish although fresh, not necessarily very qualitative. On the other hand the desserts are industrial and frozen we were not able to have what we wanted but an extra cookie was offered to us for the inconvenience Pretty quick service for us

25/09/2024: My wife and I had the most memorable meal in a long time at L'Ovale. They had a large party of tourists when we arrived. They seated us and asked us if we mind a short delay while they finished with that party. As it was our wedding anniversary, we were hoping for a longer dining experience, something we truly enjoy in Europe. When they learned it was our anniversary, they provided extras during our time there. They took the time to make sure our visit was truly special. They duck confit and cassoulet were excellent! At the end, they brought us profiteroles with sparklers and candles and sang to us! Thank you so much for the experience!

11/09/2024: Endroit sympathique, avec de bon produit et un tes bon foie gras, le coq au vin et les confits comme a Toulouse rien a dire , je reviendrais pour le cassoulet !

23/09/2024: Amazing pastries! Tastes were really unexpected and delicious. All the pastries looked really pretty and sufisticated. It is a nice cafeteria to chill and spend some time. Staff is kind, smiley and friendly.

08/09/2024: Nous sommes venus dans cet endroit soit disant "très bien" un samedi après-midi, les présentations de gâteaux et autres étaient vides et nous avons vraiment sentis que nous dérangions la serveuse qui était plus motivé à faire son ménage que à servir les clients ! Nous avons commandé nos boissons mais la première boisson ne nous a pas été servie ( oubli ou pas envie de servir???) Pour la boisson suivante la serveuse ne m'a pas demandé le type de lait que je souhaitais... ( Dans d'autre café on prpose toujours à chaque client les différents types de lait selon les goûts de chacun) Mais là non on m'a imposé un lait d'amande que je déteste ! Donc je je nai pas pû boire mon thé macha. Les boissons sont servies dans des petits pots de confiture pas vraiment Cet endroit est très cher.

15/09/2024: The worst restaurant you can ever find in Nice. I ordered two different dishes, but one of them was incorrect. When I informed the first waiter, he kept explaining the wrong dish rather than fixing the issue. I had to talk to two more staff members before the third finally removed the wrong meal. Meanwhile, I watched other tables, who arrived after me, finish their meals and leave before I received the correct dish. The worst part happened when it came time to pay. I was given a bill for €35, but when I went to pay using Apple Pay, the staff didn’t show me the card machine before I tapped. After paying, I requested the receipt, only to see that I had been charged €53 instead of €35. The waiter who handled the payment walked away right after handing me the receipt, and I had to wait yet again to get the issue resolved. When they finally returned, they refused to refund the overcharge to my card or cancel the transaction so I could pay the correct amount. They only offered to give me the difference in cash. By this point, I had completely lost trust in the restaurant and asked them to cancel the card transaction so I could pay with another method. Instead of resolving the issue, the manager came out, raised his voice, and questioned my English abilities in a condescending manner (For a little context, I’m Asian but born and raised in English speaking country. So I’m not sure how much better my English needed to be for him to have a convo with me lol) Not only was the situation handled poorly, but the lack of respect and professionalism was shocking. No one acknowledged their mistake, nor did they apologize it felt like a deliberate scam. If you are an Asian woman traveling alone, DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. You can easily find similar food quality in Nice with much better service. I understand that customer service standards vary, but this was pure disrespect.

22/06/2024: I went several times for a drink, I strongly recommend that we don't have the pressure of having to rush to consume, we can take our time to be able to chat. Drink prices are reasonable so I will come back without worrydrink prices are reasonable so I will come back without worry

16/05/2024: I threw up after your coffee, there was a dog in the coffee shop that jumped on my table, and the chairs and table were completely wet. and the water they gave me was yellow. They don't accept card payments and lie to people. The waiter didn't offer any menu, the man came silently and said hello to me and was waiting for something, I didn't know what to say, so I said I wanted coffee. and it didn't taste good

16/09/2024: The interior is friendly, the service and the servers just as much. Very good vegetarian wok, in fact there are other options for VG which seem just as tempting. I was served quickly despite the crowd.
