22/12/2025: We recently visited this café for hot chocolate and tiramisu. The wait was incredibly long before our order was even taken: 30 minutes, with the waiter clearly more interested in chatting with his colleague. Once we finally ordered, the service was thankfully quick. However, another problem arose when it came time to pay the bill. After asking for it, we waited another 20 minutes, the waiter busy discussing horse racing bets at the counter. Faced with this excessive wait, we ended up paying directly at the counter. The waiter seemed completely indifferent: I entered my PIN, the payment was processed, and he continued his conversation with his colleague, still holding the card reader and the receipt, which I was still waiting for… In short, don't go there: the staff has absolutely no quality of service and not a shred of politeness. The staff who greeted me at the entrance were friendly, and the personal sunbed server and restaurant server were all very kind! The bread was delicious, especially the orange juice! It was fresh and delicious 💛 I wasn't expecting much from the meal, but the steak was good and the pasta was delicious! The pasta sauce was rich, but it had a savory flavor rather than being salty or spicy. The shrimp had a smoky flavor that made it even better. 21/01/2025: Very bad experience, there were 2 of us and we were both very sick. We ate mussels, these were barely cooked but had a very good taste.

29/12/2024: Disappointed with the dishes! The dish of sautéed lamb with herbs was a soup in which 3 or 4 small pieces of fat (no meat) were mixed with some sliced ​​carrots and some mushrooms. Lots of oil!!!! Home fries taste sour!!! All soft... another rump dish was pieces of meat (chicken nuget size) sooooo cooked hard to chew... 3rd dish these mussels (no taste, lots of fat..) Absolutely avoid.

13/12/2024: Déception totale de la carte. Un suprême de volaille = 1 escalope fine panée accompagnement inexistant, millefeuille mou . Noys y allions pour les fêtes depuis plusieurs années mais à partir de maintenant à fuir indigne d un restaurant tel quel.

28/11/2025: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Terrible hygiene, they don't wash their hands, there were cockroaches on the floor. The kebab meat was full of cartilage.

31/10/2025: Besides taking 20 minutes for a taco, he didn't even follow the order; the ingredients were practically spoiled. What's the point of even ordering if he's going to decide what goes in it anyway? Unbelievable!

20/11/2025: Lou Pastrouil is a decent establishment, without any real strengths or major flaws. The location is pleasant and the atmosphere relaxed, even if the place lacks a bit of personality. The service, while friendly, could be improved and is sometimes unprofessional. The prices are reasonable, especially during happy hour. However, the €6 fries are disappointing, with a lingering taste of stale oil. I'd happily stop by for a coffee or an aperitif, but not for a meal. An acceptable neighborhood spot, but one that could be improved.
