15/06/2026: We went as a group of 8 people. 3 ate entrecote (dry and tough meat), 2 people ate pasta (tasteless). 3 ate the duck, which was okay. Expensive for what they offered.

13/06/2026: I don't usually leave ratings or reviews, but my partner and I had such a disastrous experience that I feel compelled to... We ordered grilled octopus that arrived practically cold and anything but grilled, a salad that was as bland as could be... mussels marinière that were barely edible and literally swimming in murky water... The food has nothing to do with Niçoise cuisine, just like the people who run the place. A waitress, presumably the owners' daughter, who would be wise to consider a career change... We replaced one dish with another, which was edible, but nothing special... This restaurant may cater to tourists, whose palates and wallets deserve respect. In short, a restaurant on the Cours to avoid.

11/06/2026: Wonderful staff and chef who comes up with his own recipes. Reasonable prices. Lovely atmosphere.

31/03/2026: ​I booked a table online for Monday and got a confirmation, only to be called 2 hours before being told it’s "not possible" to honor it. We decided to give them another chance and booked for Tuesday. ​Despite having a second email confirmation, when we arrived, they refused to seat us because the restaurant was full. Their excuse? "The online reservation system doesn't work." ​This is a complete lack of respect for customers' time. Don't bother booking online here—a confirmation means nothing to them. This rating reflects their poor management and service, as we never even got to taste the food.

17/12/2025: Fantastic restaurant! The staff were incredibly kind and the food was excellent. Thank you again for the spaghetti bolognese; it was the best I've ever had.

04/05/2026: The food was good, but like in the US, tipping is mandatory when paying by card. Tips start at 5 euros.

04/04/2026: The ham pizza was good. However, the paella was a terrible joke. Served in a pasta dish, it looked like it had been boiled. It's a shame because the seafood inside was good quality and the rice was Basmati, not paella rice. Too bad, we won't be going back.

27/05/2026: I enjoyed it here, I don’t understand all the negative reviews. Yes it’s expensive, but Nice is an expensive city, and this is in nice area of an expensive city, hence it won’t be cheap. If you are looking for a budget meal, just don’t visit here. For my family, both the food and service were good, happy to recommend and come back.

26/05/2026: Very disappointing!! The restaurant seems to be living off its reputation. From appetizer to dessert, not a single dish impressed us; it lacked flavor, the presentation was uninspired, and the quality fell far short of expectations. An experience we will not be repeating.

30/10/2025: Stopped in while waiting for bus to Eze - was the closest cafe to Vauban Station. Kind lady served us 2 cappuccino. Didn't eat, but menu looked good 😋.

18/05/2026: This establishment is sadly not what it used to be...frankly...the menu is uninteresting. Dishes average €25, a bottle of wine €50...without service or any attempt at presentation! At those prices, go eat at a beach restaurant...low quality for the price...it's like a canteen! The new wooden facade is really not up to par!

18/05/2026: We're really a long way from the two palm trees... still not listed as "Café Musain"... they've taken away all the charm of this restaurant... before, there was a banquette, small armchairs, a banquette with cushions... now it's sterile and atmosphereless... tables and chairs... no atmosphere at all... yet it's on the most "chic" street in Nice, Avenue Victor Hugo... a limited and uninteresting menu... #coquillet au jambon!! daily specials #club sandwich 18 euros... #bakery!!!...linguini with tuna and lemon "no way"... fisherman's stew and fish soup... keep walking... bland... tasteless... water mixed with fish pulp for 30 euros... we're supposed to be in the Mediterranean!!! 08/05/2026: Great bakery! The saleswoman served me warmly and with a big smile; it's lovely to see bakeries that employ young people. The place was spotless—you could eat off the floor! P.S.: I highly recommend their flan; it's delicious!

13/06/2026: Nice place but way too expensive, and it's not even peak season! 16 euros for a cocktail on the sidewalk is too much; I think they need to lower their prices.

05/04/2026: Arrived at 10:35 am on Sunday, April 5th for two coffees. After several requests to both the waiter and the waitress, we still hadn't been served by 11:05 am...so we went elsewhere...were they overwhelmed???

06/06/2026: Beyond the unfriendly attitude of the saleswoman and the owner, the 71% dark chocolate bar was relatively expensive. I understand it's artisanal; there's no weight on the bar, no expiration date. I'm not a regular customer, but I won't be going back to this shop.

20/05/2026: The macarons are very good and flavorful. The price is still quite high, but then again, macarons are rarely cheap. It's a shame, however, that several of the listed flavors are missing, including some of the best ones like pistachio and passion fruit.

09/04/2026: A pitiful and deplorable welcome from a jaded and condescending woman. No greeting, no smile, and absolutely no manners. She refused to accept coins without any justification. It's because of people like her that businesses are dying in Nice, and one wonders why tourists aren't spending. What a waste!

We enter only to have a coffee to go there, but we don't even cross the door, but we listen to our eyes with very little activity and, if we don't want to be safe, we don't have to worry about our trips to the beach when the bath is occupied. The explanation in French, with total education, that we do not want to use the bath, that we simply want to know if we have enough coffee to learn. So, we have gritted our minds, insisting that we go to the beach to take a bath, without ignoring absolutely nothing that we say. Its activity completely lacks lugar, training and aggression. Before this, I say that your behavior will be unacceptable and we will decide to go ahead without buying anything. Is a pena encounter with a professional job, especially in a tourist location where you hope for a minimum of education and respect for your clients. Despite this, he started shouting the same thing again, insisting that we go to the beach to find a toilet, without listening to what we were saying. His attitude was completely inappropriate, rude, and aggressive. So I told him that his behavior was unacceptable, and we left without buying anything. If you only enter a coffee in the gym and, you will enter it, it will be signed with a little care and attention, you will not be greeted, you will be prompted with the message and you will be in the bag during the occupancy. Gli ho spiegato en inglese, con calma e rispetto, che non volevo usare il bagno, ma simplemente sapere se faceva caffè da sporto. However, I continue to speak the same thing, insist on perching and listen to a bag, know at least what the words say. It is completely safe, safe and aggressive. 18/05/2026: Worst place, bad mussels, 10 dead mussels and bad service. The restaurant owner complained about our order and thought he should have known better.......!! Don't go here
