17/04/2026: Stay away. Terrible people working here, they are passive aggressive and it was all just a scary experience. I would never trust the food if the waiter finds out he doesn’t like you for some random reason.

From the moment we arrived, the waiter was extremely rude and unprofessional. At one point, he openly spoke badly about us in French to other guests, assuming we would not understand.
It escalated further when he told my father to leave simply because he did not want to order a drink. Shortly after, our table was given away while we were still sitting and other tables were available, and we were then told to leave as if we were the problem.
We were all completely shocked and speechless, but he kept going on talking shit.
This level of service is beyond disappointing. It was hostile, humiliating, and completely uncalled for. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!! Absolutely the worst experience ever.
Ps, even if he was kind, the food was nasty.

28/03/2026: What happened to Le Tire-Bouchon? A creative restaurant that offered samples of any dish in a smaller portion for those who couldn't decide, a restaurant with a full menu featuring three meats, three fish, three vegetables, and three desserts, a restaurant where every dish was carefully considered in both flavor pairings and presentation—well, this restaurant has become a run-down betting shop, serving tired bistro fare and pasta (wow!), and flaunting its reputation for being the dead man of Le Tire-Bouchon.
I'm writing this comment later because I stumbled across some old photos from one of my visits to Le Tire-Bouchon, with a salmon dish accompanied by three different creamy soups, which gave the plate a truly striking appearance, and it made me angry again to see the restaurant still bearing the same name.
19/03/2026: The chef... a gem! The presentation of the dishes was impeccable, and above all, the food was absolutely delicious. We'll be back.

27/09/2024: This is an absolute must eat door diner restaurant. Don’t be afraid… get the fish for two. It’s the best item on the menu and even non-fish lovers will appreciate and enjoy its deliciousness.
I want to go back to Nice just for this fish.
25/09/2024: We were traveling with friends from California. I took them to my favorite restaurant in Nice. JOSE and his wonderful wife make everyone feel as if there are the most important client. My friends agreed, this was the BEST meal they had in France. Bravo L'equipe! Merci milles fois.

09/11/2024: Esta fue una comida destacada para nosotros. Qué experiencia fabulosa de principio a fin. Poder ver cómo se cocinaba la comida era bastante especial y la calidad de la comida era excelente. Este es un lugar sin pretensiones, que ofrece una carta de platos excepcionales. Cada plato que se preparaba se veía y olía precioso. Teníamos el entrante de atún agrio, risotto y ternera para la red, y el postre de pera escalfada para compartir. No era caro de ninguna manera, y especialmente teniendo en cuenta la calidad de los ingredientes. ¡Nos encantó!

02/09/2024: God mat och utomordentlig service. Vi åt både lunch och middag här. Prisvärt. Restaurangen ligger på en tvärgata men i direkt anslutning till det stora krogstråket. Läget gör att man kan äta i lugn och ro. Rekommenderas !
30/08/2024: Un bon petit resto à un prix correct on a passé un agréable moment avec l'avantage d'être un peu en retrait de la rue principale qui est bruyante et passante c est très convivial les plats y sont très bons et très bien servis et avec un bravo particulier à l'équipe pour son accueil et sa gentillesse c'est pas toujours le cas dans les restaurants à Nice et mention spéciale pour Benito qui a été à nos petits soins et toujours avec le sourire je recommande vivement ce restaurant
