27/09/2026: There were ants all over the place, even on the cupcakes on display in the window, the tables, glasses and cutlery were dirty. The staff was very lovely but the food was average and most importantly it wasnt clean.

11/10/2026: Great place and delicious pancakes. The attentive waitress brought our order quickly. I liked the place; if you're looking for a bite to eat within the old town, I definitely recommend it.

07/10/2026: We came here to have our final lunch before departing Nice and my what a lunch it was. I suggested to my friends that Crepes would be a great option as they hadn't had any in France so far during our trip. This couldn't have been more perfect. The waiter immediately found us a table, there is not booking here so make sure you come when it's less busy! As there was only two people running the place, one for the tables and one for the cooking (presumably the owners as well?) service was slightly slower than it could have been but that is all forgiven due to how efficient they were with the amount of tables they have. Two of us ordered the formule which is incredibly generous (one savoury and one sweet pancake) and two of us ordered one savoury pancake as we couldn't eat two. The savoury pancakes came out first, and there were absolutely zero complains from anyone. I thoroughly enjoyed my Basquaise Galette, lovely and crispy with a comforting filling. Demolished in short order. For the location, the price and charming service. Yes the waiter was very lovely and spoke very good English but was happy to converse with us in our broken French haha If you're in Nice and craving a Crepe, this is the place to go!

10/09/2026: Name on the Gmail account is different than my real name for reservation. For a 1 star restaurant (especially for a 165 € Menu) food was underwhelming. Nothing really stood out as memorable. Main dish was served while one of the guests was in the toilet. We prepaid 300€ but when the bill came we only had a discount of 200€. After pointing it out and checking by the restaurant we were proved right but didn't even get an apology for reasonably serious mistake.

06/10/2026: What a fantastic "blind" menu! It was our last night on the Riviera and were so pleased to experience Michelin quality dishes without the fuss and pretentiousness. Amazing value, friendly and knowledgeable staff. We made reservations, but we saw some walk-ins, although I highly recommend making reservations anyway just in case, especially for high season. Thank you Le Panier staff 🧡

06/10/2026: The food was delicious and therefore the 4 stars. The menu is secret and you have to say give it a go for a good lunch. The waiters were nice enough but also a bit unengaged - as if they were reading a strip. We had a bit of difficulty understanding them. It might have been better to have the menu on a small card when it was presented. Then we could read it again and understand it better. We decided on the wine menu, since we didn't know what we were going to have to eat :) - The wines went really well with the food. There was noise from a family with a baby, you have to be prepared for that at lunch. You can choose to sit in several places, as the restaurant has rooms on both sides of the small street and you can also choose to sit outside.

14/10/2026: Comme un dimanche is a great spot for brunch lovers. The portions are generous, beautifully presented, and varied, with a nice balance between sweet and savory options. There's something to satisfy everyone's cravings. However, a few drawbacks slightly mar the experience. The tables, too small to comfortably accommodate such generous portions, sometimes make dining a bit impractical. The service is friendly and cheerful, but seems to lose its bearings when the restaurant gets busy. Finally, the drinks are disappointing due to their lack of refinement, both in preparation and presentation. Serving them in simple glasses reminiscent of IKEA's cheapest options is a stark contrast to the care taken with the food. But overall, the experience remains very positive.

20/09/2026: I had the course menu for dinner. Across ordering, meal service, and general hospitality, the service felt extremely sub-par. Despite the language barrier, there was a stark difference compared to how other guests were treated. Paying this much for that level of service means I won't be coming back. If I could, I wouldn’t give even 1 star for service. That said, the food itself was quite good.

14/09/2026: Excellent restaurant, ideally located across from the sea on the Promenade des Anglais. The service is excellent and warm. The open kitchen is a beautiful sight. The menu is very appealing and the food is simply delicious. We ordered whatever appealed to us at the time: the daily special, the "Duc" menu with pressed lamb (absolutely divine), and more. There were plenty of choices; there were three of us, including a child who devoured with great pleasure what the chef and his team had prepared. Thank you for this wonderful end-of-holiday meal and congratulations to the entire team in the kitchen, dining room, and reception/switchboard. We will gladly return every time we are in Nice. (A minor drawback regarding the view and temperature: a window was broken (overlooking the sea) and the air conditioning wasn't working properly in the dining room due to the heat; there weren't enough fans.)

25/08/2026: If you're looking for a welcoming place with excellent food at fair prices, you've come to the right place! The lady serving is extremely friendly and helpful, and the food is all delicious, high-quality, and very tasty. Our favorite dish is the octopus salad. The place is small, but we found a table without a reservation for lunch on a weekday. The place is very homey yet clean, and we absolutely recommend it!

On the menu, regional cuisine takes center stage with authentic, generous dishes bursting with local flavors. But it's the service that truly sets it apart: the staff is exceptionally kind, attentive, and particularly friendly, adding a real touch of cheer to the meal. An excellent place to share a relaxed and delicious moment with loved ones!
