18/05/2026: The food was excellent, refined, and surprising, with a variety of flavors. The dining room is small, so it's best to make a reservation as it fills up very quickly given the quality of the food. The owner does everything: cooking and serving, and he's incredibly efficient.

30/05/2026: Good quality food, attentive service (except perhaps towards the end of service). Prices are relatively high (on par with beach restaurants). The dessert of the day (Pavlova) was disappointing for €12; the nougat would have been a better choice.

It's the perfect spot for families: children can play, run, or cycle safely while parents enjoy their meal. L'Instant offers original and generous cuisine, a fusion of French, Niçoise, Asian, and Creole influences. You'll find everything from perfectly executed brasserie dishes to delicious accras, samosas, spring rolls, achards, and rougail. Everything is homemade, using fresh, high-quality, and carefully selected ingredients. The owner is lovely, welcoming, and passionate. The portions are generous, the prices very reasonable, and the desserts excellent. The atmosphere is family-friendly, convivial, and relaxed. Between the neighboring cocktail bar, the other shops on the square, and the quality of the food, this is an address we highly recommend. A true gem of Nice, where we always return with pleasure!

20/03/2026: A highly recommended spot on Boulevard Grosso! This little restaurant in a less touristy area is definitely worth the effort. It's a favorite among locals and workers. Enjoy delicious food made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, a truly creative daily menu, a pleasant atmosphere, and top-notch service. The chef and owner adds his Italian touch to his creations, while his wife expertly and efficiently enhances the presentation of the dishes. As an added bonus, the prices are very reasonable, offering exceptional value for money, a rare find in Nice. However, be sure to make a reservation, as this place is very popular! ☺️

24/05/2026: An exceptional wedding dinner for 60 people last night at Chez Cane! A warm and attentive welcome, a beautiful terrace for cocktails, and an incredible Niçoise dinner: we thoroughly enjoyed a selection of dishes served with the smiles and care we all appreciate. The chef and his team create authentic, local cuisine that is generous and delicious, and our international guests won't soon forget this evening. Special mention for the incredible lemon meringue tart. Chez Cane: a gem on the Fabron hill.

20/05/2026: A harmonious, calm, and welcoming atmosphere. Absolutely spectacular cuisine! The tarte Tatin is a true delight, the gratin dauphinois melts in your mouth, and the ravioli are simply the best in Nice. Everything was extremely fresh, generous, and perfectly balanced. This is a place where you can taste the care, quality, and passion in every dish. I highly recommend it.

Tell Un Ange belongs to this increasingly rare category: restaurants where you return for what's on your plate. Two visits a few weeks apart were enough to confirm this impression. Here, the ingredients are fresh, the menus evolve with the seasons, and each dish seems to tell a sincere story, without artifice. From the very first bite, a focaccia reimagined as a pissaladière sets the tone. A marvel of balance between indulgence and finesse, where Mediterranean generosity meets perfectly executed technique. The beef, topped with a foie gras and porcini mushroom sauce, could have easily become a show of force. But it doesn't. The sauce, rich and flavorful, maintains a remarkable lightness that complements the meat without ever overpowering it. The side dishes are not relegated to the background: a special mention goes to the perfectly balanced ratatouille, which instantly evokes the familiar flavors of Sunday meals and grandmother's recipes. As for dessert, the family consensus was immediate. The dark chocolate fondant won over both my children and my mother, bringing three generations together in shared enjoyment. For my part, I was captivated by a delicate Gariguette strawberry sabayon, where the freshness of the fruit met the richness of the cream in perfect harmony. But the experience doesn't end with the food. The service also deserves praise. Professional, attentive, and precise without ever being intrusive, it is punctuated by those little touches that make all the difference and remind us that hospitality is an art in itself. In an era where bills often skyrocket faster than the quality of the food, Tell Un Ange offers simply remarkable value for money. A genuine, generous, and deeply charming place. Absolutely not to be missed.

At Tell Un Ange, there's no unnecessary theatrics: an intimate dining room, a warm welcome, and above all, honest, straightforward cuisine. The ingredients are fresh, the menu changes with the seasons, and this is evident in every bite. Special mention goes to the focaccia, pissaladière-style, as indulgent as it is elegant, and to the superb piece of beef accompanied by a perfectly balanced foie gras and porcini mushroom sauce, rich in flavor but never heavy. The ratatouille had that home-cooked aroma that instantly evokes childhood memories. Finally, the dark chocolate fondant was a unanimous hit at the table, while the Gariguette strawberry sabayon was wonderfully fresh. Add to that impeccable, attentive service full of thoughtful touches, and you have one of the best surprises in Nice right now. A remarkable value for money and an address to discover before it becomes Nice's worst-kept secret.

24/05/2026: Lunch was great. Our waiter Mario gave us wonderful service. We had formule lunch, 3 course - foie gras, bream crudo, veal salad & chef dessert - chocolate hazelnut torte with vanilla ice cream. Nice place on the beach with patio seating.
