First friday of November we were back for ‘ soir opéra’, amazing evening, beautiful opera songs, service still outstanding, chateaubriand formidable, atmosphere seducing. Restaurant team is why we come back (early next year ( from Pays-Bas))

09/01/2026: Such a cozy restaurant! I really appreciate the hospitality of the owners. Knowing that I cannot speak French, this lovely lady tried her best to explain the cuisines for me in English. The menu is changed daily to ensure the quality of the food. The pork I ordered was the best pork I’ve ever had for a long time. The gravy on pork is very balanced and the salad dressing is so appetizing. The most surprising part is the sea salt on the bread, which really elevates the whole flavor of the dish. They open on the weekdays only for lunch. I really wished I could stay a little bit longer in Nice just to try more of their cuisines. 老板娘去过中国，跟我聊了很多她们一家在中国旅游的经历。非常友善的一位女士！

06/12/2025: A very pleasant experience: an intimate and welcoming place with very friendly staff. The ratatouille pasta is a simple pasta dish with vegetables, but it's still well-made. The duck steak was very good.

25/01/2026: Both the service (quick and friendly) and the meal were excellent. We all thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails and the dishes. The value for money is very good, even impressive. The setting is also incredible. We highly recommend it!

13/01/2026: We had lunch at La Rotonde (the Negresco's brasserie) and had a wonderful time. The setting is superb, both elegant and relaxed, and you feel right at home as soon as you arrive. The dishes were truly delicious: the chicken and sweetbread vol-au-vent was bursting with flavor, and the seared scallops were cooked to perfection. The desserts were also excellent, with the orange blossom sorbet being a particular favorite. The service was impeccable and attentive, exactly what you would expect from a fine establishment like this. I highly recommend it.

01/09/2025: Had a great, late Sunday dinner after a day at the Chagall museum and the beach. This is on a quiet street close to the train station and right across the street from our hotel (Paganini). The service was great and the food was wonderful. And it was very affordable and less costly than the touristy places on the main streets. The menu of the day was on the chalkboard and had several choices for each course. The pissaladiere and the Gambos Nicoise were very good.

24/08/2025: Good foods, nice and friendly staff. Instead of heading to the crowded area with super expensive foods, here we can also get good food with acceptable price.

02/02/2026: This was a real find!!! The welcome was warm and inviting and made the already excellent "plat de jour" a dining delight. If we lived in Nice we'd be coming here often.

22/01/2026: One of those places where you dont feel judged, where food is available even after 14.00. They take the time to welcome locals for a coffee at the bar. And the food, oh, just a series of dishes made with love and care. The extra plus is the IRISH COFFEE prepared by Alexandra, the waitress. The BEST in town!!! Thank you for being there, 6 days a week!!! A real institution 😘🙏🏼😘
