23/05/2026: Small Salon de The. Plenty of choice regarding sandwiches and cakes. Personally, I enjoyed Earl Grey tea and a cake, a bit like Tom Poes.
21/05/2026: Excellent bakery and pastry shop.
Top-quality products.
Lovely tea room with friendly staff.
I highly recommend it.

13/03/2026: Lunch as part of a festive menu was delicious, original, flavorful, generous, and very good—in short, thank you for this wonderful experience. The staff was very professional and friendly. The decor was lovely and cozy. Go without hesitation.
13/03/2026: As part of the restaurant's festive events, the menu item at Kastelberg was described as:
"Celery ravioli with mushroom duxelles, finely shredded smoked eel in a vibrant ginger broth."
The dish I received contained only two slices of celery sandwiched between other vegetables. When I asked where the shredded eel was, I was bluntly told that it was cooked in the broth. In that case, the more accurate description would be "eel-infused broth," not "shredded eel in broth." The description clearly implies the presence of fish on the plate. No compensation or alternative was offered, leaving a distinct impression of false advertising and a misleading description of the final product. It's a shame, because the main course was decent, and the average dessert resembled a piece of mass-produced fruit mousse cake. Edible, but nothing special; I didn't detect the promised cardamom flavor. Overall, I was disappointed by this restaurant for the first time.

Hungerplatz

28/07/2026: Inn run by Clara and Sébastien.
Excellent daily special.
An inn we love to return to for the vol-au-vent, one of Sébastien's specialties. The bread is delicious. My favorite dessert is the ice cream with blueberry coulis.
26/07/2026: Disaster.
We wanted to have a drink on the terrace after a hike. Since it didn't look like anyone was coming to take our order, we went inside. We were very rudely told to leave and wait outside until they came. The door was already locked behind us to prevent any other guests from entering – even though the restaurant wasn't even half full.
Of course, no one came. We left, thirsty.
The rudest service we've experienced in all of Alsace (even though we spoke good French).
