29/07/2026: First and last experience at this club.
We paid €20 to try squash, but the experience was very disappointing. Upon arrival, there was no welcome, no coach or staff member to explain the rules, how it worked, or even offer any advice to beginners. We were simply left to fend for ourselves.
The equipment provided was very old and in poor condition, which really discouraged us from playing.
The worst part was the temperature in the courts: no air conditioning. It was stiflingly hot, to the point that we had to stop after less than ten minutes because it was so difficult to breathe. For a first experience with squash, it was a huge disappointment. We left feeling like we had paid €20 for a very unpleasant experience. I do not recommend this establishment, especially if you are a beginner.

11/09/2026: Wow! An absolutely flawless experience at Le Bon Temps restaurant in La Ciotat. From the incredibly warm welcome from the staff to the last bite on the plate, everything was perfect! The food was extremely good and generous (a big plus for the halal option). There's really nothing to criticize, it was perfect. I recommend it 90,000%! Go for it without hesitation!!!

The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. And above all, the value for money is excellent for such a well-located restaurant.
I highly recommend it, and I will definitely be back!

When we arrived, the restaurant was closed!
Please let customers know you're closing the restaurant next time; it would be more respectful!

03/02/2026: The welcome was fantastic, the team was very friendly and competent. We enjoyed two excellent fish dishes, beautifully presented and plated by a team of smiling and highly professional young people!
It's rare to find such a warm and welcoming atmosphere in a restaurant. We will definitely be back!

30/10/2025: We arrived with three children and six adults and received a warm welcome, excellent service, and perfect dishes (mussels and meat). The chef and waiters were very friendly. No complaints whatsoever.

26/09/2026: For over 30 years, this has been a place of conviviality, which the system wants to take away from us. For all the new residents of La Ciotat, or those just passing through, if you didn't come just for the scenery, you owe it to yourself to make the detour! This isn't a tourist trap! You'll have the chance to taste Provençal dishes, home-cooked meals (which are increasingly rare), and perhaps you'll realize that if they take it away, they'll take away a part of our very essence. 29/08/2026: Delicious grilled octopus tentacle served with small Asian vegetables, rice, and wakame seaweed. We also ordered the mussels marinière, which were fresh and a generous portion. Desserts were traditional, with large ice cream sundaes. The servers were efficient, and dining on the patio was very pleasant. We had no problems with either the service or the food. We will be back.
22/08/2026: Racist staff who prefer to have a clientele without Arabs, who didn't even greet us, as if we were ghosts… very disappointed, we moved on.

02/09/2026: Pathetic... I've never seen anything like it... The owner is so bitter it's nauseating! From the moment we walked in, he launched into a string of petty, unjustified, and grotesque remarks to welcome us to his empty restaurant, seated us at the only dirty table in the room, in an uncomfortable corner despite the other available space, and continued his relentless barrage of toxic comments (a bitter little man with misogynistic tendencies and a rotten mentality—are we surprised?...). We hadn't even been in the restaurant for two minutes before getting up and leaving!!!
I'm leaving this message to thank this pathetic jerk for introducing us to the restaurant next door, with its magnificent outdoor terrace right by the sea. We ate very well there, in a superb setting, practically "with our feet in the water"! Let him continue chasing customers elsewhere—yes, yes, sir, show us the door right next door!—customers truly deserve to experience the flavors and the special atmosphere of a restaurant where the food is good and where you can genuinely enjoy a moment of pure pleasure in good company. Let him remain cloistered in his gloomy and uncomfortable restaurant, with his aggressive and unhealthy tendencies, because whatever the case, cravings for good sweet and savory crepes can be satisfied two streets away, on the Saint Jean side, again in a beautiful and pleasant setting with decent service! I will never set foot in his creperie again. A jaded owner exists everywhere, but an owner who is abusive towards his customers is unacceptable!
27/08/2026: I do not recommend this place. An unfriendly man served us, barking orders. The coffee was bad, and the Nutella crepe had a salty aftertaste. I will not return.

23/05/2026: We were really looking forward to trying France's delicious baguettes in La Ciotat. It wasn't until the end of our visit, at the fourth bakery, that we finally found what we were looking for: crispy and delicious. We can also highly recommend the croissants and apple chaussures.
The owner was always very friendly and cheerful.
When I asked for a recommendation for a charcuterie, a discussion with another customer in the shop ensued. First, they consulted amongst themselves, and then, with great enthusiasm, they sent me on my way. I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation and the excellent recommendation.
