The food is awful!
Even the mussels and fries! Tiny mussels, more than half of them closed, and the sauce was disgusting!
The toilets didn't flush and were full of urine…
Over €90 for this?! We beg you tourists, go somewhere else; our city is beautiful and welcoming!
03/12/2025: Dishonest restaurant owner. Poorly explained menu. Dry fish with a strong taste that didn't seem fresh. I've never paid €22 for a plate of mussels marinière when most of the shells were empty! A rip-off. You're paying for the view. Furthermore, the restaurant only takes cash. €70 without drinks for 2 adults and 1 child. Avoid at all costs. A shame because the location is great.

22/09/2024: Pleasant setting facing La Bonne Mère; excellent welcome both by the waitress and the waiter who really care about the customers. Excellent value for money We were a group of 10 people and ate there twice.
If we come back to Marseille, we will definitely go back there

The rest leaves something to be desired. Paying for a dish to have three poor prawns on the plate and coming out hungry is absurd! Not to mention the dry and sinewy entrecôte!
Positive point on the other hand for the very well made burger and the unsuccessful chocolate fondant.
We are far from good value for money
We do not recommend this place at all.

The owner insults his customers and sends his (large) servers to grab disgruntled customers and wrestle them to the ground in front of us. We're still shocked. If you don't want to get hit, don't go there.
11/07/2025: Avoid bland mussels, frozen fries as hard as rock, exorbitant prices and the smell of corpses inside the restaurant.

28/09/2024: Because we have to give one star! Not a serious establishment in every respect! Low-end product quality, which makes dishes taste bland and uninteresting. The service is long and without coordination with the kitchen. Many customers simply left. Too bad the place is fantastic, not everyone can eat by the sea. So don't waste time with this place.
28/09/2024: Although the crepe is decent, the service ruins everything. Plastic glass, having to order at the bar, rude waiter, no consideration. In short, absolutely NOT a piece of good old Brittany in Marseille.

22/09/2024: マルセイユほか各所でブイヤベースを食べましたが、他ではそうそうないくらい濃厚で非常に美味しいです。口コミで否定的な意見があるのが、残念。お値段は他のお料理と比べれば高いかもしれませんが、これだけの魚介類を使って手間をかけているので、当然ではないかと思います。お昼に行きましたが、口コミ通り一人一人前は確かに、多そう。日本人慣れしているのか、お店のマネージャーさんが、二人で一品に応じてくれましたが、普通は出来ないようなので、次の日本人のために、チップでお礼しましょう。

19/08/2024: L'endroit est très sympa, la serveuse adorable. En revanche, le carpaccio de boeuf qui arrive surgelé sur table je n'avais jamais vu. Et quand j'aborde le serveur pour lui dire, il me répond que c'est normal, je n'ai qu'à attendre 30 secondes et ca sera décongelé vue la chaleur en terrasse ... c'est pas énorme ça ? Je l'aurais viré sur le champ si j'étais son patron.

24/07/2024: Had a perfect lunch here- perfectly cooked salmon, herby potatoes and beautiful salad. Fresh, quality ingredients served with a very friendly smile. All staff, waiter, waitress and chef were a pleasure to meet. Very good value for money.
24/07/2024: Plats simples mais bons, serveur agréable et service rapide. Endroit adapté aux enfants. De la musique sur la place pendant le repas. C’était très agréable. Bon rapport qualité prix. Seul bémol, l’eau des carafes a mauvais goût mais c’est l’eau courante de Marseille…
