19/09/2024: A very pleasant moment both for our taste buds and for our eyes!!
We enjoyed the scallops and the lamb... The setting is very warm, with the decoration that you can buy. The service is done with kindness and good humor, everything was perfect! We will come back for the Suze 😉

22/09/2024: I used to go to the Clos St Roch restaurant, which undoubtedly had the best value for money in the Alpilles. It has been taken over by a young and friendly team. The cuisine is still of high quality but a tone below , the prices on the other hand are a tone higher; the wine is quite expensive and the wines of the Alpilles have almost disappeared from the menu; the obligatory cheese platter seems superfluous to me...
For now, it was better before...

04/09/2024: Restaurant décoré de façon atypique et chaleureuse, cadre dans lequel on se sent bien. Tables bien espacées.
Menu à 48€ le soir avec entrée, plat, dessert, 3 choix pour chaque.
Plats généreux et goûteux à base de produits locaux. Belle présentation soignée. Nous nous sommes régalés les papilles et les yeux.
Les patrons assurent un service convivial, discret, attentionné , efficace et irréprochable.
Le top à Maussane !
30/08/2024: We went to this restaurant where everything was very good from starter to dessert. We had a pleasant time at midday on the terrace. The owners are super nice! We will definitely come back.

Everything was perfect, the generosity on the plate, the perfect flavors, a welcome and a service full of quality and know-how.
An address not to be missed.
11/08/2024: Good quality traditional cuisine. The service rather fast. The interior decor with exhibition of paintings and exterior with a bucolic tendency are calming.

08/09/2024: Third time in a few years that we have made a detour on our holiday route to come and have lunch on this delicious place in Maussane. Once again we ate very well at the Café de la Fontaine, a superb Provencal lamb navarin for one and a generous Alpilles salad for the other. Friendly service despite the crowds this Saturday lunchtime. Very reasonable price. We will therefore keep this good habit for our next trips!
03/09/2024: Very bad experience. We ordered 4 rare beef ribs for 8. One of them arrived medium rare and not rare. We did not send them back to the kitchen because of the waiting time, but reported it. No reaction from the server. At €86 for an undercooked rib, a gesture would have been the least we could do. Especially since I realized afterwards that it was supposed to be served with marrow bones, the color of which we didn't see!
And to top it off, the waiters started putting away the umbrellas and chairs on the terrace, even though it wasn't even midnight on a Saturday night and there were several tables still eating. Like a strong feeling of being disturbed...
In a word: avoid!

25/02/2024: Closed for 2 years now... I really enjoyed it in 2021 and I hope to reopen one day or another.
Work is underway at the beginning of 2024... fingers crossed and hope that the quality will be there!

28/06/2024: Idéalement situé sur la place de l'église de Maussane (aux beaux jours) le reste de l'année le restaurant se situe dans la rue adjacente. Carte variée, proposition de plats, végétariens. Tout est fait maison avec des produits frais. Assiettes copieuses et bien présentées. Service rapide et souriant.

Alles was okay.
Vriendelijke en vlotte bediening.
Kikkerbilletjes zeer smakelijk , zo ook de tonijn. Mooie presentaties !
