21/10/2024: Quel bonheur de retrouver yaya, doudou, clément et Delphine pour un voyage gustatif exceptionnel dans une ambiance conviviale digne d'un restaurant qui se veut à contre-pied de l'attrape touriste du milieu rochelais. Cette rue en retrait du fabuleux port aux deux tours en fait un environnement idéal aux découvertes proposées par les deux chefs cités plus haut. L'accueil y est irréprochable et la qualité des menus, des entrés jusqu'au desserts en passant par les viandes et fromages exposés en vitrine en font à nos sens un établissement incontournable pour les puristes. Un seul mot: bravo et à très vite!

18/08/2024: When we visited a full menu was displayed but only pizzas available. Not clear why. The pizzas were cooked one at a time, so service took a while, but they were very fresh. Decent range of flavours, tasty and generous. Popular venue. Service was fine though the waiter was struggling as to how to do particulars and would probably benefit from further training.

24/07/2024: Exzellentes Essen zu vernünftigem Preis. Alles sehr frisch und von Hand zubereitet. Vorspeise „Oeuf de Marans“ war besonders fein, aber auch das pièce de boucher.

24/07/2024: Surfait … vous trouverez bien meilleur et moins cher sur La Rochelle . 26€ le menu entrée plat … ou plat dessert c’est abusé ! Portions très petites …

20/08/2024: Drinking good is priceless. The wine selection is top notch. The cuisine is seasonal with a short circuit logic. The place is a hybrid restaurant/cellar. Even if the room is not huge, don't be surprised to get lost there because the choice of bottles is so varied. Eat, drink, support independent business.

14/08/2024: The atmosphere is warm, the service impeccable, and the dishes are simply delicious, from the aperitif board to the cheese platter and the wines… A great place to spend an excellent evening. I highly recommend! We will come back!

After promising not to stay too long, the manager accepts and serves us a tasteless spritz with lots of ice...We returned to the street around 8 p.m. and it was still just as...empty! 19/09/2023: A brand new and very clean university restaurant. We appreciated the sinks with the soap installed in the queue which allows us to wash our hands. An Italian stand is offered with pasta and pizza. There's even a pizza vending machine outside. The spaces are large, which is pleasant. The main problem is the queue which gets longer from 11:45am. The flow is not fast enough, perhaps the layout of the food stands needs to be reviewed? Indeed, we must first pass in front of the vegetarian stand before going to the meat stand, by separating the queues this would perhaps allow people to leave. The meal was good and with good portions.

12/06/2024: Malgré une réservation pour deux nous sommes arrivés dans un restaurant où il ne restait qu une table de 4 nous avons ete très mal accueilli nous faisant passer pour des menteur en nous faisant comprendre que nous n étions pas le genre de client qu ils souhaitent avoir dans leurs établissement nous sommes gay et.mon ami est de couleur là table de 4 à été donner à un groupe qui n avait pas réservé la patronne n est pas vraiment bonne en relation humaine et très désagréable limite agressif

31/05/2024: C'était juste parfait, de l'accueil, à l'assiette généreuse et délicieuse, avec le sourire et dans la bonne humeur!!!

15/06/2024: Our last meal before we left La Rochelle. All meals were good, the steak, the pork(plat du jour) and the dessert (cream brûlée). If I go to La Rochelle again, I must come their restaurant again.
