08/06/2026: We had kebabs with fries, and they were really very good, no complaints whatsoever. The taste was excellent. The potatoes and fries were a real treat; you could tell they were homemade. Eating good food like that felt so good, and it had been a long time since I'd eaten something so delicious.

15/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at Bistrot Des Bonnes Femmes. The dishes were refined, flavorful, and beautifully presented, featuring high-quality ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere. We were also pleasantly surprised to discover the small inner courtyard, hidden from view from the outside—a quiet and charming spot that made the meal even more enjoyable. Special mention goes to our waitress, who was truly friendly, smiling, and attentive throughout the meal. Her professional and welcoming service made the experience even better. We will gladly return!

14/05/2026: A wonderful discovery in La Rochelle, deserving of a higher rating than its current one ⭐️ The lunch menu offers excellent value for money (€20 for a starter/main or main/dessert, €26 for all three). The cuisine is original, flavorful, and exceptionally well-executed, with lovely touches of creativity (such as the subtle vanilla incorporated into a cauliflower mousseline). The service is pleasant, and the atmosphere is calmer than some other restaurants in the city center, which is much appreciated.

Thank you to Hugo for his expert carving of the sole, as well as to the entire team, not forgetting the pastry chef and her sumptuous desserts.

17/06/2026: A seafood restaurant located on the old port, where the products are of excellent quality and freshness. The dishes are delicious, generous, and reasonably priced. The service is relaxed, youthful, efficient, and very professional in a pleasant atmosphere. A must-try. Very satisfied. I will definitely return.

04/07/2026: Passing through La Rochelle for a few days, we stumbled upon this restaurant. What a wonderful culinary discovery! Delicious dishes, attentive service. Truly a positive experience, and we will gladly return. 🙂

03/07/2026: Well, we were right to listen to the artificial intelligence because we had a fantastic meal, and all for €53! We enjoyed: 25cl of white wine (Chardonnay from Île de Ré), two plates of spaghetti with squid (perfectly garlicky and spicy), and for dessert, a coconut flan for my wife (delicious, she said) and a tiramisu for me (light and flavorful), with the small coffee included in the set menu. Absolutely divine! 👌👌👌 P.S.: Charming little alleyway, and very friendly waiters. We'll be back.

19/06/2026: The best restaurant for a quick yet high-quality lunch in La Rochelle. Between the à la carte dishes served in under 5 minutes and the generous portions from the counter, which is stocked with salads, quiches, hot vegetables, and proteins—all of course incredibly fresh—and the delicious crumble and panna cotta desserts, there's something for everyone. Walter, Laurence, and their team offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere! I highly recommend it for a simple, generous, and friendly meal, whether you choose to sit on the terrace or not ;)

03/06/2026: After reading the various reviews, we decided to treat ourselves and eat at this restaurant. The welcome was warm and friendly. However, we were all disappointed by the value for money. We ordered different dishes, and considering the prices, nothing was particularly impressive: an undercooked chicken leg, rather small portions, and a very basic burger. Nothing exceptional, in short, which is a real shame.
