11/11/2025: Excellent crêperie! The children loved it, and so did we, whether it was the savory or sweet crêpes! The waitress was very kind and helpful.
06/11/2025: A small crêperie in the center of Rochefort. They use high-quality local and Breton products, with a subtle combination of flavors. The service is quick and friendly, with clear explanations. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Highly recommended!

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere.
And the servers are pleasant.
Highlights:
Special mention for the perfectly cooked egg and the orzo cooked like a mushroom risotto!
Lowlights:
The braised root vegetables were unfortunately bland.
And the chocolate sauce on the profiterole was much too sweet for our taste.

20/02/2026: Following a recommendation from a fellow walker, we went into this small, simple but welcoming restaurant. We received a very warm welcome; it was quite busy, but we waited patiently. The meal was excellent; we were pleasantly surprised by the food, everything was delicious. I chose a glass of white wine from the Charentes region, which was excellent—a little dry yet also slightly fruity. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are ever in Rochefort. Thank you to all the staff. Annie

19/02/2026: A group of four people, just for a drink in the early afternoon. The welcome was appalling: no hello, no thank you, no please. The card payment terminal was broken, not a word of apology, not a smile, not a goodbye. No desire to ever set foot in there again.

Simple but delicious food, and absolutely divine desserts! The crumble was heavenly… kudos to the pastry chef.

Kudos to the waitress who managed the full restaurant with patience and a smile.
The meal was generous and very good.
We were just a little disappointed by the burger, which wasn't up to the standard of the other dishes.
Children's menu offered: steak frites, syrup, and a scoop of ice cream.
12/11/2025: Kudos to the chef who had the brilliant idea of combining pumpkin and baked eggs! The dish was delicious.
And the fig clafoutis was divine, not to mention the discovery of a local dessert, jonchée.

15/02/2026: I'm giving it three stars because the atmosphere is gloomy and the person serving you has no conversation whatsoever, not at all the approach of a local shopkeeper; they're an automaton with no expression or smile. You'd think you were dealing with funeral home staff. Worth seeing... 😏🥺🫥😱

Le Tabac des Thermes is a friendly place, with a pleasant terrace and a very clean bathroom area 😀😀
Oh yes, I forgot the main thing, the manager... well, what can I say 🤔 😀... he's very friendly, helpful, and you can see he loves his job.
I recommend this place without hesitation.
