14/07/2026: On July 13th, my husband and I ate there for the first seating. It was certainly busy, and we don't question the servers' work—we commend them—but there simply weren't enough of them. We had to wait, and my husband only received his glass of wine at the end of the meal because he asked for it. We should have eaten quickly because there was a second seating, but for two courses (one main and one dessert), we were there for an hour and a half. It's a shame; they should have had two more servers that day to avoid any oversights.
21/06/2026: This was our second stay with our little dog. We stayed on the ground floor, in a large parking area opposite the beach, and had immediate access to the beach right across the street.
The rooms were obviously very comfortable, and there was a swimming pool.
The owner is discreet but attentive and available, and his wife has a passion for cooking that will delight you at mealtimes.
A very pleasant establishment for a discreet and relaxing stay.

13/09/2026: On a Sunday in St Palais, it's best to book ahead. A table on the terrace was a bit cramped but shaded. First and foremost, I must say the service was impeccable: attentive, courteous, and very professional. The dishes were also very well prepared: salmon gravlax and the fish of the day. A special mention goes to the profiterole, which finished off a menu for only 30 euros. A great experience that I highly recommend.
13/09/2026: This restaurant is fantastic; we rarely see a server who loves their job and does it with humor, passion, and a smile. The food is excellent: the grilled octopus is a delight with its perfectly chosen vegetables, and the profiteroles are delicious too… Go without hesitation. We highly recommend it.

Time always catches up with everyone.
I don't think you were taught respect.
In September, you don't have the same clientele as in July and August, but in the end, it's still the same amount of money.
Don't look down on us; you have everything to learn, including from your bosses.
15/09/2026: I made a reservation after consulting the menu on the website, which offered mussels marinière and mussels with curry for around €17, while most of the other dishes listed were well over €20.
Upon arrival, I was surprised to find that mussels were not listed at all on the restaurant's menu. After asking the manager, I was told that it depended on availability or that they sometimes didn't offer them. 🙄
I can understand that a product might not be available, but in that case, it would be important to clearly state this on the website or on the menu ("subject to availability," "not available on certain days," etc.). The lack of information here is concerning, especially since this dish was the reason I made the reservation.
So, disappointed by this lack of transparency, I decided to leave.

14/09/2026: My husband and I ordered mussels marinière; some were undercooked, and what's worse, about ten flies and wasps were buzzing around us throughout the entire meal. The owner kept saying it wasn't his fault. I couldn't finish my meal because there were flies perched on it. Constantly.

We were served quickly.
I ordered the 2 x 100g burgers for €21 from the menu. I was given a choice of how I wanted them cooked, and I asked for rare. On my plate were two burger patties, frozen and therefore much overcooked and tough. We ordered a carafe of Charentais wine, which came with ice cubes. My husband's €28 set menu was decent.

J'ai essayé de manger la viande, j'aurais mieux fait de la renvoyer.

28/09/2024: toujours aussi bonnes, les crêpes sont même plus garnies qu' en avril date de ma dernière visite ; le patron était plus détendu et la serveuse qui n'a pas changé toujours sympatique je conseille toutes les crêpes par contre les moules étaient moins savoureuses (manque de vin blanc)

01/09/2024: Pas un resto de plage mais un resto sur la plage. Service sympa, cool et arrangeant, plats de bonne qualité à un prix très correct compte tenu de l'emplacement. Une bonne adresse que nous prendrons plaisir à revisiter à l'occasion

Venir était une joie vu tous les amis qui m'ont enchante ce restaurant mais je suis déçu par le manque de tout

02/09/2024: Après avoir hésité avec les 3 ou 4 autres restos à proximité, notre choix s'est porté sur celui-ci pour son excellent rapport qualité-prix avec la formule. Et bien nous en a pris. Servi à l'heure, avec sourire et professionnalisme, plats copieux et goûteux. A l'ombre sous la pergola et avec une belle vue sur l'océan, c'était un sans faute.
07/06/2024: Date 1er juin 2024 – Avis d’un groupe d’un club de randonneurs de Pisany, à l’occasion d’un repas de clôture de saison.
Restaurant choisi en raison tout d’abord de l’accueil avenant et professionnel dès le premier contact au téléphone et en second lieu pour la palette des plats proposés, nettement plus attrayante et fournie que celle des autres établissements contactés dans les environs immédiats. Par ailleurs, le tarif proposé nous avait parus tout à fait raisonnable.
Cadre sympathique avec pleine vue sur la mer. Accueil chaleureux de toute l’équipe, du couple des patrons aux serveurs. Les plats étaient bien présentés et excellents, voire raffinés. Le cuisinier a l'art de les magnifier sans les dénaturer. La qualité très appréciée des denrées de base s’explique sans doute par le fait qu’elles proviennent de producteurs locaux.
Merci pour votre accueil et les petites attentions que vous avez eu à notre égard durant ce déjeuner.
