11/07/2024: Lorsque je lis les avis je n’ai pas l’impression d’avoir mangé dans le même restaurant, de l’entrée au dessert (16€) rien n’est fait maison. Personnel agréable.Beau parking jouxtant l’auberge.

Cuisine naturelle de l'entrée au dessert.
Une particularité exceptionnelle :
Le chef vient nous voir en salle.
Bravo à toute cette famille qui nous ont permis de passer un agréable moment.

15/09/2024: Restaurant brasserie sur la place de boussac.simple mais efficace si l'on juge à la grande salle remplie ce jour la. Pour notre part nous avons pris deux entrecôtes bleu ,qui nous avons bien eu bleu ,mais froides à cœur. La cuisson a cœur des viandes est un vrai métier .la viande pas terrible avec beaucoup beaucoup de gras ,du coup notre chien c'est bien régalé. Néanmoins une prise en charge rapide du client et une jeune serveuse très agréable avec la clientèle.

15/09/2024: Restaurant bien agencé. Une grande salle avec de grandes baies vitrées. Nous avons pris la marmite de la creuse avec charcuterie,pas terrible du tout la charcuterie,hormis le jambon crue,le reste jambon blanc et rosette ou saucisson avait un goût de frigo. Produits industriels. Les desserts était correct profiteroles et crème brûlée. Par contre le service était assuré par une équipe très jeune et dynamique. Bonne chance à notre jeune serveuse ukrainienne ,agréable et professionnelle.

Hearty breakfast, quiet establishment.
The staff is accommodating and available.

15/08/2024: Despite what was advertised, we could not have a menu that evening. Only a la carte. The starter (terrine) was ok. The fish (filet rouge) was also tasty but had been waiting too long and was
only half warm anymore. The camembert roti had been in the oven for far too long and was therefore partially cooked away. Still, some tips: provide more pleasant 'food music' and keep the house dog away from the restaurant: not everyone finds a head with drool on its leg pleasant while eating. And yes, the setting with the paintings is pleasant, but that alone cannot give a restaurant stars.
15/08/2024: It took them 1h30 to serve us the food. Simple. Ratatouille with vegetables with hard and inedible skin. Please, take more care of the service and what you serve.

21/09/2024: This very unpretentious establishment is a gem. If what you want is good food at a reasonable price, it's worth a visit. We had a very nice lunch over 90 minutes: I thought the food would never stop coming to our table!

Très bon moment passé, n'oubliez pas de réserver...
24/08/2024: Great food and a great setting. We had a delightful lunch on the terrace overlooking the valley. The speciality beef on hanging skewers was particularly appreciated and the fish was excellent. Lovely range of desserts. Friendly and very good service. Definitely a winner!

06/09/2024: Friday evening in Guéret at 8 p.m. no more Fondue Creuseis... already cash in! The young person at the checkout tells who is responsible (black shirt).. and nothing happens! We wait... and of course there was melting. Extended with milk or water I think, not great. 2 starters, 3 main courses. 48 euros. To finish 2 cups of ice cream and fortunately we finished well, they were good!

27/08/2024: Small family hotel with only 8 rooms, which gives an appreciable calm, especially for the rooms on the garden side. The rooms, although a little outdated, are very clean and functional (those at the back have a 160 cm bed). )
The “big” plus is the swimming pool, very appreciable in summer and which allows total relaxation. The slightly gastronomic restaurant avoids spreading out the evening is also very appreciable. Ideal for a few days of vacation 🤗
