16/09/2026: Our favourite white fish is John Dory and they served a portion of this in their €25 menu. With the fish terriers a starter it was excellent value.

16/09/2026: If you are travelling through France, it’s a lovely overnight stop in a beautiful location. If you have more time, stay longer for an indulgence that is worth every penny. Re-visit planned already.

20/08/2026: We were lucky enough to get a table right by the windows, with a direct view of the viaduct. The setting is magnificent, the restaurant remarkable, and the quality impeccable in every respect: tasteful decor both inside and out, a warm welcome, and discreet yet efficient service. The meal (set menu at €56) was excellent.

19/08/2026: A very good place! The food is excellent, the service efficient, and the setting very pleasant. A minor drawback was the manager's welcome, which we found a bit cold, both when making the reservation and when paying the bill. A shame, because everything else was truly delightful!

09/06/2026: Three words: Haven of peace A simple and warm welcome. A beautifully renovated former farmhouse with outbuildings. A small pond in front of the property is home to free-roaming animals: ducks, chickens, and swans. In a nearby meadow, sheep and donkeys bring the place to life. It's lovely to relax on a bench. Guests share a table d'hôtes featuring excellent home-cooked meals. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. It's a precious place for anyone seeking serenity and kindness. 26/05/2026: We discovered this magnificent place on the recommendation of our real estate agent. We were not disappointed at all. A very warm welcome 🫶, a choice of indoor and outdoor seating. A set menu with a main course and dessert, prepared with expertise and quality ingredients. The portions are generous...and for a more than reasonable price 😉. Thank you to the manager and his wonderful smile, his kindness, as the place exudes serenity (environment, architecture, staff, clientele...). We wholeheartedly recommend discovering this beautiful place, which has a wonderful soul, thanks to its entire team. A big bravo 👏.

And what can we say about the service… We've never been so well looked after. A lovely, attentive, professional team who took excellent care of us from beginning to end. 28/09/2026: What a joy to find such a good restaurant just a stone's throw from Guéret! Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Impeccable service and a lovely terrace. A word of caution, though! Avoid the three-course meal (starter, main, and dessert) as it's incredibly generous. Next time, I'll wisely limit myself to just one course!

13/09/2026: Not all the best restaurants are in Paris or other major cities. In the small department of Creuse, there's a restaurant in Feniers, just a few kilometers from the Millevaches plateau, that's well worth a visit. My friends and I had the pleasure of spending a delightful lunch there yesterday, a truly memorable experience. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The service was impeccable, the explanations of the dishes were incredibly precise, and the flavors and tastes on the plate were perfectly balanced. As an added bonus, we had the opportunity to witness the preparation process firsthand by chatting with the chef. We were truly impressed. Having the chance to compare it to some Michelin-starred establishments, we don't understand how such a restaurant isn't listed in the Michelin Guide or Gault & Millau. We simply hope that this oversight will be corrected by the Michelin Guide in 2026. Thank you, Chef, and sincere congratulations to you and your wife.
