21/06/2026: We were there two years ago. The moment you open your car door, you hear the rippling sound of the river—so soothing! What a beautiful place; you become completely zen there. Very sweet owners, always ready to help. Super cozy spot for breakfast. Beautiful and clean rooms. So: 5 stars!! We will definitely be back.

12/06/2026: An excellent restaurant! I love restaurants, they're my thing, but truly the best cut of beef I've ever eaten (mature beef). The sweetbreads were excellent. I've been to Michelin-starred restaurants... this one has two stars, plus the sorbets are 98% fruit, made by a master ice cream maker—pure bliss! The chef is passionate, with love and respect. The waitress was extraordinary, a truly wonderful welcome. I will definitely be back with friends. It's an hour and a half drive, no problem. A delight made with the finest ingredients... 27/05/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at Hôtel Le Pommeil. The managers are incredibly kind and welcoming. The room was spotless, with a comfortable bed, and we slept very well. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches: a teapot, coffee, tea, and bottled water in the room. And above all, eat at the hotel: we thoroughly enjoyed it! Everything was delicious and prepared with care. A clean, comfortable, and pleasant hotel, perfect for a stopover or a longer stay in the region. I highly recommend it 😊

Aurélien and Aline were fantastic! 👍 They were kind, helpful, accommodating, and always available. 18/05/2026: We had an absolutely remarkable 3-night half-board stay at this establishment. The welcome was very warm and friendly; the owner, Mr. Nougier, truly went out of his way to ensure our satisfaction (car and bicycle parking, escorting us to our room, etc.). The rooms are very spacious, simply but tastefully furnished, and impeccably clean and in excellent condition. We even thought the bathroom was brand new, but it wasn't! The half-board option proved to be a culinary experience in its own right. Each dinner was a delight for the taste buds: refined, varied, and creative gourmet cuisine, showcasing high-quality local produce with elegant presentation. Special mention also goes to the waiter in the restaurant, who was professional, attentive, humorous, and incredibly kind. The prices aren't "budget-friendly," but the value for money is undeniable, and the prices are perfectly justified. A huge thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome and their discreet yet ever-present professionalism. We will definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend this place! Fursac is also an excellent starting point for cycling trips; it's best to have an e-bike (or very strong legs) as the region is quite hilly. The hotel staff also gave us great advice on places to see...

21/06/2026: Exceptional! We had a true culinary journey; everything was delicious, original, creative, and incredibly good. There were four of us as a family; my daughters loved their burgers, and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Special mention for the churros with dark Comté cheese. Check out the new summer menu; the chef is incredibly talented. And in the dining room, the cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are delicious. In short, don't miss this restaurant!

03/02/2026: A very good restaurant with a lovely terrace. Mâcon, delicious calf's head, Loire red wine, very successful sweetbreads with porcini mushrooms, and a very good vanilla soufflé with chocolate pastilles.

28/12/2025: Excellent restaurant. Refined setting. They offer a set menu for €65 and another for €45. À la carte dishes are also available. The wine list is classic. The portions are generous and beautifully presented. The flavors and seasonings are just right. The service is professional and attentive. We were served a little too quickly for my liking. The "mid-course drink" offered after the starter would have been better served after the main course. It's a wonderful restaurant that I highly recommend. However, I suggest calling ahead as it seems the restaurant might be closing. Happy retirement to the owner...
