17/08/2026: We booked through a Smartbox for four people: two adults and two children, including a baby. The welcome was only average. We arrived early because we hadn't been informed about the time. Despite this, the owner was unpleasant. Our dinner reservation hadn't been taken into account initially, which prompted a reprimand. For a place that is supposed to be family-friendly, there is no equipment for children. The presence of children even seemed to bother the owner. The attic apartment wasn't equipped with a fan. We had to buy one, and even then, the temperature was unbearable. We had to cut our stay short. The positives: the surroundings (bike rides nearby, peaceful atmosphere), the food: exceptional dishes, however, there's no children's menu, the waitress was attentive and very professional.

11/08/2026: We stayed in a treehouse. It was clean enough, a quiet and relaxing place, and the welcome was pleasant. The owners are elderly but go out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The evening meal was excellent, featuring only local products and at very reasonable prices. The experience was very satisfying.

22/06/2026: Charming hotel, run by a very friendly young couple and their children. Specializing in Alsatian cuisine. Overall, you won't go hungry! Very good breakfasts. They tried to sell me a salted caramel ice cream from Isigny (to a Breton). I almost stormed out, but I managed to find unsuspected inner strength to overcome this affront to eternal Brittany.

18/09/2026: A quick stop at this great restaurant for a friend's birthday. The chef knows his ingredients very well; it's a pleasure to listen to him talk. He managed both the kitchen and the service perfectly. There was no wait between courses. The establishment is clean and pleasant. And the piña colada was to die for! Highly recommended.

The entire team is friendly, attentive, and always ready to offer the best advice. Thank you again for the birthday surprise with dessert. We had a delightful evening.

28/08/2026: A very pleasant hotel with a warm and welcoming, family-run atmosphere. The room was very clean and comfortable. The meals were simple yet delicious, prepared with local ingredients. We were also able to enjoy the pool just before the storms hit. We highly recommend this establishment.

07/08/2026: We spent just one night in this small hotel during our recent motorcycle road trip through the Auvergne region. The word "Welcome" deserves a capital W for this establishment; the owner's smile and friendliness are genuine and warm. The rooms are simple but perfectly adequate, and the food is very good, with excellent dishes served! We highly recommend this establishment; it's well worth a stop!

17/09/2026: Had lunch here after visiting Boussac market. The food here never disappoints. Always great and good value for money. The lunch menu is 17 euro for 3 courses. Would recommend you book your table as it is really popular.

18/05/2026: We had an absolutely remarkable 3-night half-board stay at this establishment. The welcome was very warm and friendly; the owner, Mr. Nougier, truly went out of his way to ensure our satisfaction (car and bicycle parking, escorting us to our room, etc.). The rooms are very spacious, simply but tastefully furnished, and impeccably clean and in excellent condition. We even thought the bathroom was brand new, but it wasn't! The half-board option proved to be a culinary experience in its own right. Each dinner was a delight for the taste buds: refined, varied, and creative gourmet cuisine, showcasing high-quality local produce with elegant presentation. Special mention also goes to the waiter in the restaurant, who was professional, attentive, humorous, and incredibly kind. The prices aren't "budget-friendly," but the value for money is undeniable, and the prices are perfectly justified. A huge thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome and their discreet yet ever-present professionalism. We will definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend this place! Fursac is also an excellent starting point for cycling trips; it's best to have an e-bike (or very strong legs) as the region is quite hilly. The hotel staff also gave us great advice on places to see...

20/08/2026: We had taken the precaution of making a reservation to ensure both a table was available and we knew the service time. Unfortunately, after a 45-minute wait, we still hadn't received our menus or been able to order. So we ended up leaving. A very disappointing experience, especially since the whole point of a reservation is to be able to plan ahead and avoid this kind of wait.
