The welcome was warm, even though we hadn't made a reservation. An address to remember for a future visit.

10/04/2026: This restaurant deserves six stars. A magnificent setting, excellent menus ranging from €19 to €55, and remarkable service, as well as an impressive wine and coffee list. The icing on the cake is the opportunity to observe various birds of prey in the Creuse Valley!
14/03/2026: The starters and desserts were delicious and original. The main course was more ordinary and a little disappointing. The servers were excellent. One minor drawback: the wooden chairs were uncomfortable. The location in the countryside is unusual and worth a visit.

16/04/2026: Passing through on my way to work, I stopped by. After waiting for over half an hour for my order, I was disappointed with the food, which was rather unappetizing.
The service is very slow; unfortunately, there are only two of them working, so it's very poor.
15/04/2026: Great restaurant! We arrived right in the middle of the lunch rush. My portions were generous and the staff were incredibly welcoming despite the crowd. I highly recommend it.

The burger with good quality meat, fries, and salad... a generous portion for under €20.

19/04/2026: We had "reservations" for three people at the restaurant by giving our preferences to a robot that (very politely) offered us an inside or outside table, our arrival time, etc. At the end of our "conversation," the robot told us we would be called back to confirm. We received no call, so we called ourselves to confirm. Alas, there were no more tables available; the restaurant was full!
It's a shame that this is the customers' fault. The person who answers the phone (when it's open) should receive training on how to use the robot to retrieve the "reservations." This new opening in the region is unfortunate. Do we have to book a room to be sure of getting a table at the restaurant?

15/02/2026: A wonderful discovery! A warm welcome. Beautifully presented dishes and, above all, everything entirely homemade (even the delicious bread) using high-quality, seasonal ingredients. Everything was excellent! One important detail: there's no menu, but two set menus to choose from.
18/11/2025: Off to the Creuse region. A restaurant with a pleasant setting, certainly, but with a chef who seems to have one foot in the Michelin-starred galaxy and the other in his own garden.
The menu oscillates between the ambition of a Michelin-starred dish and the reality of an ordinary plate.
And what about the price! A price that would make even the most audacious Parisian bistro blush.
The highlight of this experience is the coffee. Yes, the coffee. €4.50. At that price, it could be served in a sculpted porcelain cup, with a gold leaf at the bottom, and a little hummingbird feather to stir it. But no, just a coffee, as ordinary as they come… except for its price, which is anything but ordinary.
In short, after this culinary "experience," you leave not with stars in your eyes, but rather with a less flamboyant wallet. Fortunately, there are other places in Creuse to welcome you with more kindness and friendliness.

14/05/2026: A very pleasant stay at this village hotel, run by the Nougier family for three generations.
Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome from the chef, followed by his restaurant manager, whose professionalism we must commend.
The explanations were clear, and the advice precise and insightful, particularly regarding the wine selection.
To start the evening off right, we enjoyed a cocktail in the garden accompanied by homemade appetizers.
The hotel also boasts a heated outdoor pool, which is a real bonus.
For dinner, we opted for the five-course market menu and discovered the excellent gastronomic cuisine of Chef Stéphane Nougier.
The dishes showcase seasonal products from local producers, all of exceptional quality (organic vegetables, foie gras, langoustines, morels, free-range poultry, asparagus, strawberries, chestnuts, farm eggs, and cheeses).
The chef demonstrates remarkable creativity in his dishes and a perfect mastery of cooking techniques.
We also appreciated the wines offered by the half-bottle, providing excellent value for money, such as the 2016 Saint-Émilion red.
Another very welcome touch was the coffee menu offered at the end of the meal.
As frequent guests of quality establishments and lovers of fine dining, we believe the chef deserves a Michelin Bib Gourmand, as his refined, generous, and perfectly executed cuisine is offered at an accessible price.
The superior room is spacious, comfortable, and perfectly equipped, with a large walk-in shower and high-quality bedding.
A truly wonderful place to which we will be delighted to return, as much for the quality of the cuisine as for the attentive service and peaceful setting.
