03/03/2026: I would have given it more... the dishes were good, the desserts were inventive, the mocktails were tasty, and the service was decent. The meal itself was far from unpleasant. However, a rather nasty bout of food poisoning following the meal (probably from the salad, if the staff happen to read this) prevents me from giving it more than the minimum rating... posted from my bed.

13/02/2026: Very, very good. This was my second time at this restaurant for a worker's lunch. The service was quick and friendly, and the quality/quantity/price ratio was excellent.

15/02/2026: A wide selection of hot dishes, pizzas, grilled meats, and unlimited vegetables, as well as desserts and appetizers. All portions are generous. The lasagna was prepared with a very good tomato sauce. A béchamel sauce would have been preferable to a beaten egg mixture on top of the gratin. Service was quick and efficient.

The cuisine is refined, full of flavors, and the welcome was warm from start to finish. A beautiful place that I highly recommend!

15/02/2026: A wonderful discovery! A warm welcome. Beautifully presented dishes and, above all, everything entirely homemade (even the delicious bread) using high-quality, seasonal ingredients. Everything was excellent! One important detail: there's no menu, but two set menus to choose from.

18/11/2025: Off to the Creuse region. A restaurant with a pleasant setting, certainly, but with a chef who seems to have one foot in the Michelin-starred galaxy and the other in his own garden. The menu oscillates between the ambition of a Michelin-starred dish and the reality of an ordinary plate. And what about the price! A price that would make even the most audacious Parisian bistro blush. The highlight of this experience is the coffee. Yes, the coffee. €4.50. At that price, it could be served in a sculpted porcelain cup, with a gold leaf at the bottom, and a little hummingbird feather to stir it. But no, just a coffee, as ordinary as they come… except for its price, which is anything but ordinary. In short, after this culinary "experience," you leave not with stars in your eyes, but rather with a less flamboyant wallet. Fortunately, there are other places in Creuse to welcome you with more kindness and friendliness.

28/12/2025: Excellent restaurant. Refined setting. They offer a set menu for €65 and another for €45. À la carte dishes are also available. The wine list is classic. The portions are generous and beautifully presented. The flavors and seasonings are just right. The service is professional and attentive. We were served a little too quickly for my liking. The "mid-course drink" offered after the starter would have been better served after the main course. It's a wonderful restaurant that I highly recommend. However, I suggest calling ahead as it seems the restaurant might be closing. Happy retirement to the owner...
