The quality of the food was impeccable, with careful presentation, a real delight for the taste buds, both for the dishes and also for the deserts. Dishes prepared using fresh, quality ingredients. The restaurant team ensured that our experience was perfect in every way, displaying remarkable professionalism and kindness, in a very friendly and warm setting. The wine list of this restaurant is a true odyssey for the taste buds, offering a varied choice that will delight wine lovers, both novices and experts, through a meticulous selection that speaks of a love for good wines. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy delicious meals in a beautiful setting and with impeccable service. A round of applause to the whole team !

25/03/2024: Our stay at the Hotel Negociants in Valence was a thoroughly impressive experience that undoubtedly deserves five stars. The hotel's central location allowed us to fully enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Valence. The proximity to attractions and the variety of restaurants in the area were just perfect for our explorations. Although the hotel's facilities are rather simple, we didn't miss anything. The rooms offered comfort and tranquility, coupled with an appealing aesthetic that reflected the local charm. A particularly outstanding experience was the customer service we experienced. After we left we realized we had left a backpack at the hotel. Our contact with the hotel went smoothly and we were deeply impressed by the speed and efficiency with which the staff responded. Not only did they show great commitment to forwarding our backpack safely and quickly, but they were also extremely friendly and accommodating. Overall, Hotel Negociants is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Valence. Not only does it offer a fantastic location and pleasant amenities, but also customer service that really stands out. The Hotel Negociants will definitely be our first choice again on our next visit to Valence.

17/03/2024: My wife and I spent two nights at Hôtel Les Négociants in Valence, France, in early January 2024. Although we had originally reserved for three nights, we found ourselves checking out after just two nights. The photos have been included with this review to provide an idea of the condition of the rooms in this hotel. Fortunately, the hotel refunded us for the prepaid amount for the third night. Some of the issues we encountered during our stay at this hotel: 1) Lack of Hot Water: Initially, there was no hot water in the bathroom, necessitating a room change. 2) No Ventilation/Air Conditioning: The absence of proper ventilation in the bathroom and toilet, coupled with no air conditioning, has led us to keep the room windows open for extended periods, proving impractical during the peak winter season. This has resulted in condensation and persistent odours, particularly problematic when using the bathroom and toilet. 3) Inadequate Space: The room is exceptionally small with no wardrobe, leaving no space for unpacking or even leaving the suitcases open. 4) Limited Power Outlets: With only one power plug near the bathroom, We had to disconnect the TV and seek an extension from reception for charging devices. 5) Noise Insulation Issues: Poor noise insulation has made it challenging to sleep, as we can hear every activity from neighbouring rooms. With all these noises, we woke up in the middle of the night. 6) Lack of Basic Amenities: Essential services like laundry are not provided, and basic amenities such as a kettle and toiletries are lacking. 7) Unsafe Shower Area: The confined shower area, equipped with a curtain, presents a safety hazard as it tends to be slippery. Even with cautious showering, water consistently seeps into the carpeted section of the main room, owing to the absence of a bathroom door and limited space for proper water containment. To mitigate this, we had to improvise by using the bathmat as a makeshift barrier, followed by the inconvenience of squeezing it into the bathroom after each shower. Additionally, the lack of racks or hooks in the bathroom compounds the challenge, making it impractical to hang bath towels or clothes. 8) Room Conditions: The rooms appear worn out and desperately need upgrades. Considering the gravity of these issues, We inquired with the hotel staff about the possibility of moving to a better room. Unfortunately, they mentioned that all their rooms have the same standard and that other rooms are even smaller. They seemed embarrassed to show us around, indicating their acknowledgment of the subpar conditions. We believe the rooms in this hotel are only suitable for a one-night stay, a sentiment echoed by other travellers in their reviews. The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location, situated close to the train station and at the centre of Valence. We regret paying 70 Euros per night for this hotel. Upon looking into alternative accommodations, We found that Airbnb offers better options at a more reasonable and cheaper price than this hotel.

There are special times when one cannot drink hot or even cold drinks unless you tell them you will stay and serve dinner orders. I don't know that in all places in the south of France there are restaurants 24 hours a day. 24 hours a day, all services are provided without any exception, and of course the price is the same, and it can be cheaper, and the views are over the sea. I don't know the tourism department or the tourism manager in this area. Is he aware of these laws in restaurants in his area? There is no foreign country, not even Arab, nor even a country very far from the concept of tourism. All over the world, disrespectful laws are being passed against people who want to drink coffee or a cold drink at 5:30 p.m. Your service must be for food only, and without writing on it, it is a bar, cafe and restaurant, thank you and I hope my message will be addressed to the relevant places in the state systems, especially to responsible for tourist centers.

29/03/2024: Excellent meals! A beautiful catering menu with local products! I recommend without hesitation. Very easy to access, there are now even electrical terminals for recharging cars. Thanks to the whole team.
