26/08/2026: I came today with a friend. The meal was incredible. The service was perfect, the person was kind and smiling. What more could you ask for? The Italian salad I ordered was generously topped and excellent. The chestnut cream dessert? Perfect. And very affordable. A very good experience. No regrets.

19/09/2026: Passing through Valence, what a pleasant surprise for lunch! We had the dish of the day (beef bourguignon) which was delicious! As for the service: quick, efficient, friendly, and attentive. I asked the kitchen to change the recipe (using fresh cheese) and it was done with a smile, and it was absolutely delicious. Well done to the whole team! Highly recommended!

17/09/2026: A friendly and smiling sales assistant in training. Another woman who didn't say good evening or goodbye unless I insisted. At 7:00 PM sharp, I was at the register putting away my change when she turned off the store lights. I've never seen anything like it. The 5-star service rating is really only for the sales assistant.

30/09/2026: Ideally located opposite Valence Ville train station, this brasserie is very pleasant. Passing through on a Sunday between two trips, I enjoyed stopping by. That Sunday, the waiter was working alone and was extremely professional, managing the entire terrace, keeping the tables clean, taking orders, and being both quick and courteous. There was no set meal option, but they offered a nice charcuterie platter with bread and cheese, all of good quality, along with a paper napkin and a finger bowl – well done! The authentic Art Deco decor and architecture are beautiful and well-maintained, and the atmosphere inside is also cozy. The restrooms were clean (just one minor issue: the toilet handle was missing). Given my overall impression, and admittedly biased, it's rare to find such positive points. Don't hesitate; I was very satisfied with my time there.

26/07/2026: Impeccable 👍 We eat there every time we're in Valence. Family atmosphere, good pizzas 🍕 and the price is reasonable.

22/08/2026: For me, without a doubt, these are the best pizzas. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and the menu is original without being overly experimental. They have all the classics and their signature pizzas. Deliveries are fast, and the staff is welcoming and efficient: I love it!

10/08/2026: A very warm welcome; the owner is incredibly attentive to visitors, quickly setting up a small table for us. Her pizzas are generous and delicious. It's well worth getting off the motorway and stopping there (near a small square, easy parking).

11/09/2026: The café is nice, but the service leaves much to be desired. "What can I get you?" was shouted across the room when we hadn't been given a menu. We felt like we were bothering them, as the waitresses clearly had better things to do than bring us the menu. We ended up ordering by shouting from one end of the room to the other. I didn't really appreciate it 🥲

01/08/2026: By the small canal, with a tree with a gigantic trunk, it was very pleasant. The waitress was very pleasant, and I think the owner and chef were also up to the standard of the setting and attentive to the customers, though perhaps a little overwhelmed. Please take care of your pool. Thank you for this moment.

27/09/2026: We went here for lunch and ordered the €38 and €42 set menus to try a bit of everything, but unfortunately, it turned into a pretty stressful experience. The service was quite slow from the start, and the entrées were average. That said, my main course, the braised pork belly was honestly exceptional and the absolute highlight of the meal! Things got complicated when they told us at the very last minute that the €42 main course (the plancha-grilled shrimp) wasn't available and had to be canceled. Because we were running out of time to get to a wedding, we couldn't even wait for our desserts, which were included in the set menu. To their credit, they didn't charge us for the drinks we ordered (two sangrias and a bottle of still water) to help compensate for the trouble, which we appreciated. Still, between the missing main, having to skip dessert, and the overall slow pacing, it was a very rushed and disappointing lunch that didn't feel worth the price.

12/09/2026: We received a warm welcome from the chef, and the serving staff was very professional. We were able to dine on the lovely, peaceful outdoor terrace. We were delighted with the culinary experience offered by the chef, which featured original and well-balanced flavors.

05/09/2026: First visit to the Grand Café. We called at the last minute for lunch this Saturday. There were eight of us, and we were very warmly welcomed by a young lady, Leticia I think, and the service was very quick. Many thanks to the lady and the young man who was with her. It was a great pleasure, and we will be back.
