28/07/2026: A quality gourmet restaurant with impeccable service, however, it falls short of excellence. Unfortunately, there are many restaurants in Valence offering a higher level of cuisine for a similar price. A major drawback was the defrosted bread.

From the moment I walked in, I was enveloped in a very original and well-designed atmosphere and received a warm welcome. It's so fantastic—the welcome, the service, the quality of the food, with original burgers, generously portioned dishes and salads, and delicious desserts—that I went back this evening. 18/05/2026: This meal at Anne-Sophie Pic's bistro was a bit of a disappointment. Admittedly, one expects a lot from such a name, but it's probably naive to have imagined approaching this chef's talent. Of course, there were no flaws in this cuisine, which is indeed typical of a bistro. But there was a lack of inspiration and insufficient generosity on the plate. I'm not talking about quantity, but rather originality. In short, no complaints about the cooking techniques or the seasoning, but we simply expected more. It's worth noting that the desserts were exceptional. To experience Madame Pic's cuisine, you should visit the restaurant next door.

17/05/2026: Nice and very comfortable hotel. Excellent welcome. Pleasant setting, pool and spa. Hotel restaurant: I ate there once a few weeks ago. It was very good! One small drawback: no restaurants/bars nearby if you want to go out.

01/04/2026: Restaurant located in a former grocery store. Very welcoming, set menu with reasonable prices and local products. Sparkling aperitif 🥂 with a very smooth chestnut liqueur – a delight. Excellent food. I highly recommend it.

29/03/2026: We ate here on Valentine's Day for a champagne dinner. The dishes were superb. We enjoyed a wonderful meal, all accompanied by free-flowing champagne. The welcome was warm and friendly. The decor is fantastic, in a historic building in the center of Valence.

22/03/2026: A mixed experience. I'd never eaten in a restaurant without knowing the menu beforehand. The sea bass and the praline cigar dessert were very good, but the rest was less so. The service between courses was too slow. I didn't appreciate the wine pairing!
