05/09/2026: We were told the food was homemade using local produce, but unfortunately, I have a slight reservation about the salads, which seemed to be made with pre-packaged items from Promocash. The main courses and desserts were excellent.
04/09/2026: Unfriendly welcome, endless wait, the meal... so-so.
It's a shame, the place is very pleasant.
In short, avoid it.

11/08/2026: The lady gave us a very warm welcome. We were given explanations about the chocolate and ice cream. The sorbets were delicious and not too sweet, which was a plus. The candied orange peels were scrumptious. A truly excellent place.

Regarding the food, you could make the effort to source your ingredients from METRO in Alès, or at least use local products instead of your inedible, low-priced items.
It's a disgrace for a restaurant like this.
In 2022, you had a turnover of €621,800, and you're not capable of providing good products to your customers? It's an absolute disgrace.
Your daily special is awful.
You cook food with shabby, dirty utensils; it's disastrous.
Seating for lunch is fairly quick, as is taking orders. The servers are very pleasant, which is what saves the restaurant. I don't know how they manage to stay open; I take my hat off to them for not giving up.
The music wasn't up to par, but thankfully the servers were very friendly, making it easy to chat.
Children running around the restaurant at lunchtime was overwhelming. Perhaps someone should tell the person in charge that children shouldn't be in the workplace?

L'Histoire sans faim

13/07/2024: Les plats sont bons et travaillés. Seul bémol, un plat normalement chaud est arrivé froid mais le personnel est réactif.
03/07/2024: Plat savoureux très bon accueil, restaurant avec le charme d'une ancienne cave c'est très joli et des prix vraiment abordables

23/08/2024: Nous avons dîner à 4 un soir de semaine.
La carte est sympathique et alléchante.
Tous les plats sont très bons mais les portions sont petites. Il ne faut pas avoir une grosse faim! C'est un peu dommage.
Nous avons noté également un service un peu Express, nous n'avions pas terminé les apéros que les plats étaient là ! Pas grave pour ceux qui avaient des tartares mais pour les plats chauds, plus compliqué.
L'accueil et le cadre compensent tout de même ces désagréments.
19/08/2024: Nous avons passé une super soirée au bar, l ambiance est top les cocktails excellents et le personnel très sympa. Nous reviendrons c'est sûr

21/07/2024: Je ne recommande pas du tout vendeur avec son béret désagréable aucun sourire il n’a pas l’air heureux de vendre ses glaces et alors là la glace j’ai pris une 3 boules j’ai eu 4 cacahuète quantité de radin sa ne vaux pas son prix
