05/04/2024: Excellent welcome! We hadn't even booked and here we were at a table in front of the pool! Everything was perfect, the fish remarkably well cooked as well as its vegetables. The perfect steak, tender and well cooked. And without forgetting the perfect egg which lived up to its name
01/04/2024: Very good restaurant but expensive... Too bad there is no formula for example. Allow approximately main course + dessert €45-50. Better to know beforehand. On the other hand, good food and very good service.

30/03/2024: Did you know that the Bakery is one of the oldest houses in Bordeaux? 44 years of service for the chef, well supported by his wife in serving and managing the embers... Because yes, here there is room for cooking in the fireplace! Real pleasure of seeing and smelling your meat grilling quietly behind you while tasting one of the very good wines on the menu (local wines, of course!).
Traditional cuisine, with respect for the product and in a setting and an atmosphere that could not be more rare these days. No fuss, it might not be the most gourmet cuisine you'll ever eat, but there's no chance you'll be disappointed!

Atypical, a treat, charming owner.
We classify it as the Best restaurant in Gironde, due to the location, the setting, the conviviality, the meal...etc...
The owners are close to retirement, so remember to book it is in an old bakery you have plenty of room, they don't crowd you and they fill up quickly.

01/04/2024: Arriving without reservation on this Easter Monday, the restaurant although full with locals, we had the pleasant surprise of being accepted with kindness and a smile.
The suggestions on the current menu helped us make our choice.
We feasted ! Freshness and delight were there. We took the fishmonger's plate (seafood platter) and the chef's plate (3 fish and shellfish with parsley). Then a gourmet coffee which is very delicious!!!
We will return to this address which is a real discovery of taste and relaxation.
Thank you to the whole team for this good time.
