05/04/2024: Excellent welcome! We hadn't even booked and here we were at a table in front of the pool! Everything was perfect, the fish remarkably well cooked as well as its vegetables. The perfect steak, tender and well cooked. And without forgetting the perfect egg which lived up to its name

27/01/2024: We spent 3 nights in this small hotel in Cap Ferret. Very well placed, it offers proximity to the oyster shacks and the bistro in the pond next door, without forgetting the lighthouse just a stone's throw away, therefore strategic. The rooms are simple but comfortable. Small downside: only parquet and wood so a lot of footsteps in the common areas. So average insulation. But hey… we’re on vacation! Otherwise good table with nice dessert buffet and attentive staff. Ah, I forgot the tchanqué bar adjoining the hotel. Good rums arranged in an atmosphere mixing the style of local architecture, the English pub and the colonial house… I recommend

02/04/2024: The location is ideal for relaxing and enjoying everything on foot! You park your car and forget about it… The hotel is very pleasant, it feels like a huge chalet! The staff is very warm and discreet, the rooms are very clean, nothing to say, and the breakfast is excellent! Our room had a view of the pond; but not overlooked, thanks to a small marquee right in front of the window, for some it can be disturbing, for me it was more intimate! (Room No. 7) … But other rooms will give you the full view on the pool, fear nothing! I had the opportunity to visit others, and they make me want to come back! For my part, I would come back to this hotel without hesitation! Sand side, don’t change anything!

01/04/2024: Value for money not there, especially for a 4 star. 3 night stay. The +: - perfect location at the edge of the pool - warm decor - attentive staff, very friendly (special mention for Mattheo) Points to improve : - fairly basic breakfast, identical every day. - no restaurant in the evening, forced to go out. As an alternative on site, you can buy a meal in a jar (23rd), which is clearly not up to par (quantity and taste, etc.) - no place to sleep outside the room. In case of bad weather it would be nice. Why not put some books/games? — the cleaning lady who enters without knocking. And who puts away/throws away personal belongings for no reason. Sheets and towels are changed in all cases (even if they are not placed on the floor..) - no door in the bathroom, lack of privacy. The toilet door is rickety and we expect to find it in our hands. The bedroom handle also needs repair. The salty bar is expired (ddm). No kettle, only coffee. - the employees in the catering section are young and lack professionalism for a hotel of this standing (cleanliness of tables, dishes, manner of serving/clearing, etc.) Please note that a neighboring construction site is in progress (there is no longer the abundant vegetation as in the brochure photos, and during the week there may be noise pollution) In summary, hotel has potential but for the moment we pay a lot (very much), for the location.. The sympathy of the staff saved the stay, but we will not come back...
