An intimate setting on a quiet street in the city center, a warm welcome, and professional yet relaxed service. The quality of the ingredients is evident, the flavors are perfectly balanced, the combinations are bold, and the textures and cooking techniques are masterful: truly top-tier cuisine, executed flawlessly. Excellent wine recommendations, with suggestions perfectly paired with the dishes and at very reasonable prices. The most impressive aspect is undoubtedly the value for money. You'll find the care, creativity, and exacting standards of a fine dining establishment, all while maintaining very accessible prices (starter, main course, and dessert for €29 at lunchtime, €49 in the evening), all in a relaxed atmosphere. It had been a very long time since I had enjoyed a meal so much, with a smile on my face with every bite, to the point that I took the time to write this lengthy review. Good places deserve to be shared, and this is clearly one of them.

The teens loved the homemade iced tea and there were loads of delicious dishes to order and share. Really relaxed atmosphere, great food and a lovely first night in Bordeaux. 19/07/2026: Very weird unpleasant experience- food seemed not fresh and not really tasty, probably the issues of the heat, service was slow and distracted, not recommended. Unfortunately It was dark so almost impossible to take photos plus the food doesn’t look attractive so were no wish to do any pictures .

15/08/2026: We had a wonderful time with our family last night at Le Grill Bordelais! We received a very warm welcome upon arrival. The service was incredibly fast without ever feeling rushed, and the staff was very attentive. The food was flawless: the dishes were delicious, generous, and beautifully presented. The meat was cooked to perfection. The value for money is unbeatable in Bordeaux, with very reasonable set menus (starter/main/dessert) at €29 and €39, considering the quality offered. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!

11/08/2026: A surprising discovery! Besides the wood-fired grills, they offer delicious dishes where quality is paramount. The service is professional and friendly. There are a few tables on the terrace. The set menu is reasonably priced, as is the rest of the menu. They also have good wines. It's a pleasure to eat at an independent restaurant! 🍴
