19/05/2026: 1 star justified. Very nice start (langoutine with strawberries and marjoram, cod with peas, very subtle and refined). The pork was a little less tasty and the rhubarb dessert surprising, although personally I would have chosen something else.

Throughout the meal, we received attentive service with suggestions, and the service was organized, seamless, and friendly. The bright and airy atmosphere was a real plus for the dining experience. The food was excellent and flavorful, the dishes were perfectly seasoned, and the sauces were more than generous. I would also like to thank the entire team, from the kitchen to the dining room, for making our meal so wonderful.

Food was served in a beautiful manner and staff was friendly. Portions are not big, but menu option is quite decent for price and quantity (42 euro: entree, main dish and dessert).

24/05/2026: We had an absolutely fabulous dining experience at Le Pavillon des Boulevards! We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, and we were excited to celebrate our event at such a recognized fine-dining establishment. The entire staff was exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the greetings, and the service made us feel not only welcome but special. The setting outside on the patio was intimate and beautiful, and equally important, the cadence of the drinks and food was absolutely perfect! We never felt rushed in any way. The food was above and beyond our expectations. We consider ourselves to be ‘foodies’, and each course was both beautiful and delicious. Importantly, because of the intimate size of the restaurant, a relatively small team is employed, one that is constantly communicating and aware, and each of them floated effortlessly around to each table, ensuring the wonderful experience was consistently delivered to each and every diner. Thanks to the husband and wife owners for their vision, and the wait staff for their flawless execution, we had an experience we will never forget! Merci beaucoup!❤️👏🇫🇷

11/06/2026: It's a unique place that may or may not appeal to you: we're right in the center of Bordeaux, but the food, especially the grilled meats, is excellent and the prices are very reasonable.

04/06/2026: A lovely restaurant with good food. As some other guests have already mentioned, the service seems to be chronically understaffed, leading to long wait times. No blame to the only waiter, though; he was very friendly, quick, and spoke excellent English. The restaurant itself is a bit dated and dark, but the food, prepared in the open kitchen with a charcoal grill, is delicious. The only downside was the cheese on the set menu.

29/04/2026: This restaurant, located just steps from the famous Rue Sainte-Catherine in Bordeaux, offers a fairly classic menu. The food is quite well prepared and the service is particularly friendly. The quality-to-price ratio is good. A nice place for simple but tasty food, a little removed from the crowds of Rue Sainte-Catherine.
