20/12/2024: Dès l'accueil on est mis à l'aise. Le chef Gallacher nous a régalés avec le menu découverte et ses vins en accord. Tout était parfait.
19/12/2024: Encore un très bon moment dans cet excellent restaurant. Cadre très agréable, service sympathique, plats originaux et belle présentation. C’est si bon qu’on aimerait bien sûr un plat principal un peu plus généreux, mais le rapport qualité-prix reste remarquable !

18/09/2024: This was our favourite restaurant in Bordeaux! We had delicious food and excellent wines. We would have returned for a dinner if we had time.
10/09/2024: Surprisingly busy on a Monday evening. They do seem to close Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Smallish restaurant, just off the main square, on Rue Bouquière.
Nice selection of starters, the prawns and canellis both freshly done, the latter a trio of what amounted to spinach soufflés done in small cylindrical, flanged pots.
There was a meat and vegetarian option, includingbthe "chef's mood". The dorade (sea bream) was piping hot and very tasty, if perhaps a bit dry and overdone.
Nice selection of desserts.
They had local draught beer and a wide selection of other beverages, including wine by the glass or bottle.
The two waitresses were delightful, and the service excellent.

17/12/2023: Travel back in time with this cozy lovely quaint restaurant, with a friendly atmosphere and welcome from bubbly professional staff.
The fish and choose was delicious, so was rmthe chocolate fondant, a true gem in winter, that must be amazing in summer with a terrace at the back.

Un lieu qui vous fera revivre de bons souvenirs ou pour les plus jeunes vous les faire découvrir. Madame Colette et Monsieur Haddock vous accompagneront discrètement.

21/08/2024: Very very satisfying experience. Warm welcome followed by impeccable service. The menu has many choices which is a very good point. The food was excellent, not to mention the very affordable prices for such good quality!

20/08/2024: I had a great time in this little restaurant, nestled in the heart of the old quarter. The prices are very affordable, with several options for less than 20 euros. I particularly appreciated the homemade fries, offered with each dish, which made the meal very filling. You can also ask for more fries as they are free.
The welcome is warm, but service can be a little slow at peak times, as there is only one waitress. Despite this, I recommend this restaurant for its authentic atmosphere and tasty dishes.

Le cadre, la qualité des plats et le service sont très corrects.
Un petit bémol quand même !! L’inversion dans les crus de cafés surtout lorsque ces derniers coûtent le prix d’un verre de vin…
28/08/2024: 1ère expérience très réussie dans ce restaurant. Tarif entre 50 et 70 euros avec l accord mets et vins. 8 plats absolument délicieux. Produits de qualité venant de producteurs locaux. Cuisine très recherchée avec des saveurs subtiles tournées autour d épices, plantes...service relativement rapide. Une excellente adresse. Bravo.

Ps: I would like to present a great STANDING OVATION with soft chocolate which is not what confuses a chocolate fondant as you can find elsewhere...
