23/12/2025: The service was very friendly, explaining the products. They don't speak Spanish, but they do speak English. The atmosphere is relaxed, and there are several options on the menu. We ordered a casserole of melted cheese and the tasting of 10 French cheeses, as well as the wine they recommended. They also offer an all-you-can-eat buffet of the cheeses displayed in their cellar, which is a very interesting alternative. Even without choosing this option, you can still visit the cellar.

03/09/2024: Entre las comidas que queríamos hacer en Burdeos una era en una crepería. Esta está muy bien situada y cuando pasamos a la hora del almuerzo estaba completamente llena. Así que decidimos ir a cenar. Ofrecen varios menús bastante económicos en los que incluyen dos crepes. Los que elegimos nos parecieron bastante completos. Los crepes ricos y acompañados de abundantes ingredientes de relleno de buena calidad. Lo acompañamos de una botella de vino rosado de la zona. El local es amplio, el servicio amable y rápido y el precio es bastante correcto. Es perfecto para quien vaya buscando este tipo de comida local y no quiera perder excesivo tiempo en la comida.

18/01/2026: Excellent time there at this famous mussels spot! Mussels were delicious, we all ordered different sauces. Fries were yummy. Only non mussels options are the beef steak or the charcuterie board. Their staff is always friendly and helpful. The manager is even friendlier and make you feel welcome. Couple of wine options, generous pour. Loud environment as you’re within the market, however love this low key ambiance.

04/01/2026: Very disappointed. If you take away the friendly "yay, we're at Les Capucins" vibe, you're left with a waiter who tells you "yeah, the red is good, it's a Côtes du Rhône" when you ask if the Bordeaux is any good, and undercooked mussels with a stingy sauce, cold cream, and cheap, stale bacon bits, even though the menu says you ordered mussels with bacon (oh, and the bacon bits are barely cooked and unpleasant to chew...). In short, okay, we're superficial, we're willing to eat mediocre food as long as we're in a stylish place because we're looking for something symbolic, but there are limits. PS: Oh, and those crooks, when you order a small charcuterie platter, they throw in a slice of bread under the meat to make it look bigger, you know? Like, look how generous the plate is, when in reality there are three slices of cheap rosette sausage and two tiny corniflards. And we can all agree on that, right? ;) PS: And someone needs to tell that little twerp that the most important quality in the dining room isn't smiling at all costs, but empathy, adapting to the customers' emotions, and communicating effectively. Kisses to the cook, he seems like a good guy, sorry Bébou for ordering at 1:30 pm. No sarcasm <3

04/12/2025: I ate lunch here regularly over the past month. I really enjoyed the set menus, as they were varied and high quality. The atmosphere and service were also very pleasant. It was a very enjoyable meal here.

01/12/2025: If you want a unique experience during your visit to Bordeaux, I recommend stopping by this little restaurant. For me, it was like stepping back into the 1960s. It was absolutely charming. Very vintage, as they say these days. And for me, it was an oasis where you can enjoy everything from a coffee to a delicious meal.

The menu offers a choice of bistro or tapas dishes, which can be mixed and matched. In the kitchen, it's an art form: respect for fresh ingredients, perfect cooking, homemade sauces, elegant presentation, and excellent wine. It's rare to find such authentic homemade food; well done! 03/12/2025: The restaurant is well located, the service efficient, but you shouldn't deviate from the standard order. As for the food, the dishes were good but lukewarm, which is a shame for a leek fondue and risotto, especially since they were very good.

30/10/2025: Le Cerey is a remarkable neighborhood bistro. The menu is simple. Appetizers, main courses, desserts: each dish is flavorful, fresh, and inspired. All of this is skillfully combined with a warm welcome in a friendly setting. Whether for business, family, or friends: a superb place to try!

24/10/2025: A very poor welcome, an unprofessional attitude, and a complete lack of consideration for families. Today, I arrived with my wife and our sleeping child in his stroller. We simply wanted to sit outside: the tables and chairs were already set out, the weather was nice, and it was quieter outside—perfect for our child to continue his nap. But the manager refused, claiming that "it's a draft for the customers" inside. In other words, opening the door to serve us would be too disruptive for them... He added, "It doesn't suit me," and said he would set the table. Honestly, what kind of professional acts like this in the restaurant business? A restaurant's role is to welcome its customers, not make them feel unwelcome. A disappointing and incomprehensible experience. I sincerely hope the person in question wasn't the manager, because such an attitude is unacceptable.

07/12/2025: If you're celiac, don't go. We ordered gluten-free cookies, but there was cross-contamination (probably because everything is cooked in the same place), and the person with celiac disease had a terrible reaction. The food contains traces of gluten (even though they claim it doesn't). With how difficult it is to find gluten-free places... the few that exist don't do it properly.

21/09/2024: Great moment on the occasion of my birthday which delighted the whole family 👍👍. All the dishes were superbly delicious and thank you to the chef for our taste buds 😋😋. Everything was perfect, welcome, service, wine advice, explanations of the dishes and even a very kind attention with the candle for my birthday 🎂.
