14/07/2026: The innkeeper is wonderful. We were at the climbing site across the street with a lively group of 18 children. I called the inn around 1 p.m. because the children had run out of water in their bottles, and she told me to come to her place. She refilled all 18 children's bottles with fresh water while they were busy serving, all with a cheerful attitude. So I highly recommend this very welcoming inn where the dishes that passed before our eyes while we waited looked absolutely delicious.
19/05/2026: I didn't come here for the food... there are beautiful caravans (roulottes) where you can stay overnight surrounded by nature, near horses, etc.
The owners are modest, very friendly, and hospitable people.
I was able to speak to them in German 🇲🇫🇩🇪.
I'd love to come back ❤️
It was a truly special experience.

24/04/2026: Beautiful setting, intimate atmosphere, excellent menu. Pleasant service, very good food and good wines... A highly recommended address.
11/04/2026: On Saturday evening, March 28th, on the advice of my children, I went to eat. The meal was pleasant, the service average.
The service was going well until the waitress brought me the wine.
I was served a glass of wine, which was more like the dregs of the bottle, complete with sediment. When I pointed this out to her, she replied, without apologizing, that the dregs of the bottle were normal. When paying, I took the glass to the owner, who made the same comment as her waitress. As a former restaurant owner, I would never have tolerated such a response to a customer. I do not recommend this restaurant, especially to wine lovers and/or connoisseurs, as the staff lacks professionalism... much like the owner.

01/08/2026: I booked a table for two by email about a month before the desired date... when I arrived at 8:30 pm with my partner, I was told that the table we'd booked on the terrace wasn't available because it threatened to rain (the wind had picked up and dark clouds were approaching threateningly), and I understand that... but knowing my reservation and knowing the possibility of storms, they should have kept a table for the two of us in the dining room, but that wasn't the case... the dining room was full of people who surely all, or almost all, booked after me, and they placed us at a lame table in front of the bar, a table we had to pass through to use the bathroom... we asked to move and they gave us a table a little further forward in the corner of the bar, which at least was a little more secluded and not a walk-through table. From there I heard the waiter joking with the owner about us, calling me "Indiana Jones"... they also went to the next table to ask if everything was okay at least three times, something they never did (who knows why?)... we no longer felt like dining there, so we ordered a French-style beef tartare, which I must honestly say was really good and well-seasoned... the bread they brought me, however, was awful (it looked like stale bread left over from another table by other customers)... and with the tartare, anyway, I expected warm, toasted bread... based on the experience I had, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I'm giving it two stars instead of one only because of the excellent tartare... too bad... the hotel where we're staying, the Terra Vinum, recommends it to all its guests, but they should recommend others in the town of Gueberschwihr (there are two that I tried last year that are absolutely better)...
