14/08/2026: We received a very warm welcome!
After paying for the showers and toilets, access was very easy and straightforward. There's a bivouac area behind the hostel, perfect for pitching your tent peacefully in the protected natural area. (Admittedly, it's a bit difficult to hammer the tent pegs into the gravelly ground that's still being prepared, but with a little perseverance...!)
10/08/2026: An inn that's unlikely to last at this rate... We've been coming to the region for several years and this is our first real disappointment... We were looking forward to hiking down the trail to relax, but it won't be there after all... It's a real shame because, despite the location being its strongest point, the welcome and service are underwhelming and don't represent the region at all (which is so warm and welcoming). Fellow tourists, the owner is ready to take your money without a second thought and without a smile, just like the person in the kitchen... If you're looking for a frosty atmosphere but a beautiful setting, you'll be welcome 😂
P.S.: Thanks to Paul (a young seasonal worker) who was the only bright spot in this otherwise bad experience.

13/09/2026: Horrible, the blueberry tart from E.Leclerc would have been better, the gluey crepe was even worse, the crepes are clearly pre-made, go to this farm inn if you want to eat something of quality.
13/09/2026: An endless wait, but with the hope of enjoying a delicious blueberry tart after a hike… what a disappointment! A store-bought one would have been better, and as for the crepes… half of them were stuck to the plate, like plastic. I absolutely do not recommend it. Bring a packed lunch, and if you want to stop at Le Tremplin, stick to coffee or hot chocolate.

15/05/2026: The bedding was very average and the room could use a refresh. That said, it was clean.
We were on half-board. The soup was delicious and very filling. But even after a long hike, the meal was far too heavy: a starter after the soup, then a large sauerkraut, then a tart. The sauerkraut was frankly a disaster, with undercooked potatoes in particular. A shame. They should have made less, but better.
11/05/2026: Regarding the restaurant only: very disappointing compared to a few years ago in terms of the quality of the food offered...is it because it wasn't peak winter or summer season? We had lunch on a Saturday in May (the weekend of May 8th) with beautiful weather, but the dining room was completely empty between 12:00 and 1:30 pm. The dish (onion tart) was clearly not fresh, poorly reheated in the microwave, with industrial tomato sauce covering the fleischnakas, and the blueberry tart was also not fresh...with high prices, and to top it all off! Upon checking, the bill showed three errors in the prices, all in their favor. The explanation given: "I haven't had time to change the prices on the menu"...yeah, right...! We demanded a refund. We certainly won't be going back, even though we had fond memories of it and were happy to return...but that was before...
