17/02/2024: We had a pleasant time at Mathieu's restaurant...very good food..a very pleasant place.Sabine is very kind and listens to the customer. very friendly and welcoming, we feel at home. We ate there in June 2023 on the terrace facing the sea very close to the beach, to say with our feet in the sand, back in Aléria we went to eat at Mathieu's today today this time in the dining room with a nice wood fire where you could see the cook putting the sausages, the beautiful pieces of beef etc. if you pass by don't miss this cocooning place to eat well

19/11/2023: We were very poorly received in this bar/restaurant, we almost got yelled at by the manager because we were on the beach side terrace (which is however available to customers) to add to that she was rushing us to pay straight away even though we had barely ordered!
I don't know if the waiter was trying to drug my girlfriend and me but our cocktails were really loaded!
And finally I would say that paying 40€ for 2 waffles and 2 cocktails is a steal.
It was the only bar open on the beach at the time we were there but I wouldn't get fooled again!
18/11/2023: Great restaurant! An idyllic setting, we eat with our feet in the sand.
Special mention for the cook and Paule the boss!

05/11/2023: I recommend with my eyes closed! Beautiful and excellent cuisine. Everything is homemade and local. The terrace and the service are impeccable. Sometimes the wait is a bit long when the restaurant is full but in such a setting you can only take your time....
11/10/2023: Be careful, this restaurant may be closed even though this is not indicated on their Google page, nor on their website, nor on their social networks. Arrived in front, not even a sign. Apparently they like wasting people's time.

Staff speaks several languages and special requests are catered for.
It was even pointed out again that a desert was included for the children. Simply great.
26/09/2023: well located restaurant, friendly welcome, quality cuisine, the Corsican ham bone soup is delicious, although I preferred the Corsican soup in Bonifacio, the myrtle sausages excellent.

12/10/2023: One of my favorite moments, terrace which seems to be on the other side of the world at the top of the mountains, a warm and sincere welcome from Romain, so charismatic and attentive.
Delicious and authentic artichoke lasagna. You absolutely have to stop there.
10/10/2023: Magnificent and magical place, superb view, friendly staff, very kind, excellent cuisine, you should definitely not miss it if you go there, I recommend it.

16/03/2024: A very nice discovery! The dishes are delicious, well presented, beautiful and surprising combinations. To discover for those who don't know and to rediscover for others!
The welcome is very warm, the advice is sound both on the wine and on the dishes.
08/01/2024: Excellent address for refined cuisine, from starter to dessert including main course, everything is truly delicious. The decor is a little austere for this period but the cuisine and the welcome will quickly make you forget it. Definitely worth trying
