02/04/2026: Excellent experience at Chez Tran in Toulouse. I was delighted by the beef bo bun, which was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Our waiter, Julien, was very welcoming and attentive throughout the meal. The decor blends modern touches with Asian influences, creating a soothing atmosphere. You can feel the attention to detail in every dish. I highly recommend this restaurant to lovers of Asian cuisine.

06/04/2026: A former regular at this tea room, and passing through Toulouse, I went to buy a scone to take away this afternoon. What a disappointment!!! It was STILL STALE!! Really! And not from yesterday!! Hard, crumbly, inedible! I had such wonderful memories of this tea room…

06/04/2026: As many others have mentioned, the service leaves something to be desired, with menus being tossed on the table. Furthermore, we also have some doubts about the freshness of the products and the lack of information on the drinks: the orangeade doesn't mention that it also contains mint, and the raspberry-pear smoothie doesn't mention that it contains banana. Also, we had to pay to take our cake home (it came in a box for a fee!). Otherwise, the portions are quite generous, which is rather unusual and worth noting.

A big thank you also to the waiter, who was incredibly attentive from beginning to end, with great professionalism and kindness. Impeccable service that made the meal even more enjoyable. 30/06/2026: Twice now, and I've known this establishment for 40 years, the quality has declined. While the products are still good, it's the details that have changed, and it's often the details that make the difference. A special mention for the bread, which is excellent. As for the wines by the glass, here as elsewhere, the finish, body, and aromas are lacking, to the detriment of ethanol and methanol. When you ask for advice, the person clearly doesn't understand and serves you the most expensive one!?! Not bad, but at €7.50 a glass, I very rarely find the same richness as wines from before the 2000s. Am I too old to appreciate today's plonk? Probably. The good life will soon be nothing more than an old way of thinking and living in this world where individuality disappears in the tumult of preferences for everyone, and therefore ultimately for no one. Here, as elsewhere, we are losing our identities to the melting pot.

28/06/2026: Rude waiters, inappropriate manners, and this only affected our group on the terrace. Upon arrival, we informed them that we were a large group and asked if we could occupy multiple tables. We were told it was four people per table, and if that wasn't the case, there was no reservation. When we were seven, we were told that we couldn't occupy a second table until we reached eight (behind us, there was a group of five people spread across two tables). While we were seven at one table, a friend rested his elbow on the empty table next to us (which we took three minutes later when others arrived), and one of the waiters came over to explicitly reprimand him. After about an hour, we were already sixteen and went to take a fourth table, but there was a new rule: we could only occupy three. We asked him why, and he rudely replied that it was his terrace and his rules, and that we could only have three people. It's a shame we had already ordered dinner; otherwise, we would have gotten up and left. We won't be going back.

14/06/2026: Honestly, if you're on a budget, this is the perfect place to eat cheaply with a good selection on the menu. However, you'll need patience for the queue. And I'd like to thank Emma who took great care of me and my partner.

14/06/2026: This is the second time my partner and I have been there, and we've thoroughly enjoyed it each time. The menu is varied. The dishes are very good, with very generous portions considering the prices. The service is impeccable (a special mention for the waitress Emma, ​​who is very pleasant, smiling, and has a great sense of humor). The only downside is that the place is quite noisy, and sometimes there can be a bit of a wait before being seated.

28/06/2026: We went to eat a cheese board, and to our surprise, the waiter spoke Spanish. The board, at 18 euros, was a bit small in terms of cheese but it was fine with some jam, lettuce, and bread. We ordered two shandies (beer with lemon) at 6.5 euros each, a bit excessive in our opinion.

Everything is excellent, the cakes are finally generous, so delicious, a must-visit in Toulouse, the welcome is always friendly, thank you and please don't change a thing! One small negative point, however: a meal with friends, and a big disappointment, one of the waitresses was very unpleasant, very rushed, she really stressed us out during the meal! What a shame...
