03/09/2026: The setting is very relaxing. The wood paneling and white tablecloth make a perfect pair. I was very hungry and ordered the set menu. I was quickly satisfied, but the food wasn't very flavorful. This created a slight disconnect with the ambiance. I really appreciated the cool water on the hot day, the quick service, the tea served in individual teapots, and the reasonable prices: €30 for the set menu and €4.90 for tea. A stroll along the river after lunch was also lovely.

01/09/2026: Back to school with good habits, a return to fine arts, sure values. Exceptional welcome, just like the food. Don't hesitate, it's an excellent restaurant.

06/08/2026: Summer and its salads. My favorite salad for its lightness, flavor, and complete mix. A little spot to eat light in the shade while still being centrally located in the neighborhood. Open all day for a drink or a coffee. See you soon...

Furthermore, they can advise you on food and wine pairings. This allows you to sample a good number of wines without necessarily having to buy a whole bottle or glasses.

The food was a complete disaster, very slow (1.5 hours between courses on a weekday lunchtime) and not good. The owners are completely out of touch. The place itself is nice, it's a shame, they'll need to turn things around quickly.

05/08/2026: I have no complaints about the store itself: it's a Carrefour, you can find what you need there. However, the checkout service really needs improvement. No greeting, not a word during the entire transaction, no goodbye. The cashier spent the whole time chatting with her colleague, without paying the slightest attention to the customers. The job of a cashier also involves a minimum of interaction with customers. If there's no human contact, you might as well use the self-checkout next time. A simple hello and goodbye costs nothing and completely changes the experience.

My only complaint is the lack of organic products, particularly frozen fruits and vegetables, which seems essential given the warnings issued by various organizations regarding the effects of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides used in conventional agriculture on the health of consumers. Beyond organic products, the overall selection also seems to be steadily shrinking. Don't just think about profit, but also about your customers' health. Update August 1st: Four months after my initial review, the selection of organic frozen fruits and vegetables has unfortunately not expanded. For example, there are no organic onions, carrots, garlic, peppers, or mushrooms—essential products. As a long-time customer, I remember these items being available a few years ago. I would love to continue doing all my shopping with you, but since the government has decided to allow the use of pesticides banned in the rest of the EU, and being concerned about my health, I think I'll have to look for a store with a better selection of organic frozen foods, perhaps Picard, which is just a few minutes away. To end on a positive note, though: the staff are mostly friendly and helpful.
