18/09/2024: Of course you have to stop at this place, every col is a bit magic. Fortunately, this Cafe doesn't take advantage of its audience and has nice people serving good food.

01/11/2025: The person I spoke to on the phone who took our payment was lovely, and the servers were very friendly!
However, the raclette cheese was disappointing; it really tasted like supermarket cheese… Homemade raclette would have been better, in my opinion.
Furthermore, the menu online doesn't match the restaurant's menu, and for two glasses of white wine and a raclette for two, we ended up paying €73, which is a bit of a shame.

27/08/2024: Lieu toujours aussi agréable pour boire un verre ou déjeuner ! Le service est très agréable et la cuisine tient sa promesse de produits frais savoureusement préparés ! L'ambiance est très agréable même si les guêpes viennent un peu gâcher la fête. Je recommande et y retournerai avec plaisir.

02/11/2025: The Grands Bains offer a soothing and rejuvenating experience, with a splendid mountain view.
The atmosphere is relaxing and perfect for unwinding.
Reservations are required, and I recommend avoiding the end of the day, as it gets very crowded.
Despite this, the setting and the quality of the experience are truly worthwhile. A peaceful escape not to be missed! 🤩
02/10/2025: A victim of its own success. Far too many people, far too noisy, and service and cleanliness that leave something to be desired.
Between parents mistaking the musical cave or the trilogy pools for paddling pools, the steam room and sauna as crowded as a subway at rush hour (including children under 12), and groups of unsupervised teenagers, it's far from relaxing.
It feels more like a municipal swimming pool on a summer day than a relaxation area. And 23 euros for two hours in a municipal pool is very expensive, very, very expensive.

02/09/2024: Excellent meal, top service and accommodating with intolerances or just desires. A menu adapted for our daughter was offered to us. Very nice discovery. Everything was delicious! Special mention for the fish candy as an appetizer and the rhubarb dessert 🤩

26/01/2025: We had a great stay at the Alliey Hotel.
Unrivaled quality/price ratio. Location in the heart of the village of Mônetier, 5 minutes walk from the slopes. Extremely charming, warm and attentive staff, whether at reception or at the bar.
That’s without counting on the hotel’s big plus: the 300m2 relaxation spa area.

12/12/2024: In this cozy nest that is the Auberge du Choucas, we found refuge. The stone walls, rough and caressing under the fingers, envelop us in a gentle warmth. The air is saturated with the intoxicating scents of burning wood and mountain herbs. The hostess, like a fairy, has woven us a cocoon of sweetness. Her grace and finesse of spirit are a true balm for the soul. Next summer, without hesitation, we will return, to taste again the delights of this haven of peace, far from the tumult of the world.
15/09/2024: Very warm welcome. The owner is very attentive to his customers.
The rooms are very clean and well equipped.
In terms of catering, the evening meal was excellent with very good value for money and the service was impeccable.
The breakfast is very good and plentiful
We had a very good stay
We will return there very happily

08/09/2024: Après un séjour d'une semaine sur le Monêtier j'ai pu faire plusieurs restaurants du village, dans sa gamme, celui-ci vaut le détour, de la gastronomie à prix abordable, ambiance détendue, service en salle discret et efficace comme il se doit, chef passionné, je vous le conseille fortement si vous passez dans la région, pour 59 euros (menu 5 services) vous pourrez vivre une expérience culinaire que je pense rare à ce prix,

18/09/2024: Incontestablement une très bonne adresse en ce village plein de belles surprises (en l'occurrence les Grands Bains, et pas que...).
Une très bonne table qui alimentera généreusement vos attentes les plus gourmandes, jusqu'aux desserts les plus délirants pour vos papilles.
14/09/2024: Aucun reproche à faire à ce restaurant. Tout était parfait : l'agneau de huit heures, le cairn au citron meringué, les profiteroles... Bref, on s'est régalés. De très bons professionnels tant en cuisine qu'en salle. Et un très bon rapport qualité prix. Nous y répondrons avec plaisir.

11/08/2024: Endroit sympathique, bon service et accueil et bons plats. La truite est tres bonne toit comme l omelette. Une bonne adresse.
08/08/2024: Fondue savoyarde au bleu du Queyras, une tuerie.
Avec un vin blanc des hautes alpes, nous nous sommes régalés.
Le patron a bien veillé à ce que nous ne manquions pas de pain, et nous a offert le digestif à la fin.
Dommage que la terrasse soit très proche de la route nationale… un peu bruyant mais nous y retournerons si nous passons à Monetier
